the one that nabbs had a hard time around a turn against. heeeheeee he almost lost control trying to keep up with it, isn't AWD great. no i will be there with the Ferrari, and my friend will come with the Turbo. Joey
count me in with the 360 Spider. Will track the weather withint the 10-day horizon....but the big flip finally to warm spring weather occurs early next week and appears it will be here to stay at last, at last!!
So what time are all the ferrari guys getting there? Are we lining up model specific and how do we get through the police barrier? Didnt attend last years event so I just want to try and avoid any hassles. If anyone wants to meet up downtown and roll up there together pm me. faz
Hey faz, There is no hassle. I will be there to direct traffic [there's an opening to the police barrier...and i stand there..haha]. No- there's no model specific parking! As far as what time to get there...I will update you with that info as the date gets closer
I cant believe its been a year already.. seems like yesterday. Great job, John-- Im sure youll have more cars then last year.
Hey john quick question, what if my company brought a case of Nintendo Wii's or PS3's for raffle for a few lucky kids. i think there boxed 4 to a case and we can have maybe a free raffle for HOSPITAL KIDS only, where all the kid attendees get a ticket when they come outside to look at the cars? Let me know me and my fiance wouldnt mind as we'll just claim it under our charity expenses. faz
Faz.... thats a wonderful gesture! If I may add my 2 cents worth... it might be nice to just donate them to the kid-specific units within NYU Med Ctr so that all the hospital-bound patients can enjoy them. Now forgive me for asking this (Im not familiar with the Wii's) but dont they require a large range of phyiscal movement to operate? That might be a problem though.
Faz, That is awesome!! Thanks for your generosity bro Regarding donating the units to a specific pediatric unit vs. to the kids, perhaps we can do both, since you have a few. I will send a PM later today after finding out which center(s) can support it.
Faz, The oupatient cancer center and the inpatient rusk rehab have playrooms for this kind of stuff...I just spoke to them- they were thrilled with the idea. It is totally up to you how you want to distribute it. Giving it directly to the kids through free raffle is a definite.
Ok Great. I'm going to tell my accoutant to put through the order so I can make sure I have plenty of time for delivery. What more do kids like than video games, hopefully this can keep there mind busy and off the issues at hand for a few hours a day Faz
QUESTION on location for brunch following the run. Any suggestions about option 1 vs 2? Option 1: Route 22 Restaurant located in Armonk, NY (55 Old Route 22 Armonk, NY 10504-1319). Same locale as last year. Parking lot is right behind the restaurant, away from roads and others' view. Option 2: Route 22 in Stamford, CT (1890 W Main St Stamford, CT). Parking lot is in front of restaurant. We get to use I-95, which is great. Distance for both is 45 minutes. As of now, wer'e reserved for Route22 in Armonk. The whole parking lot is ours.
I would like to go on the fun run/brunch with an S2000 I'll have for that weekend. I'm not familiar with the area, is there any place for me to park during the show, then leave with everyone for the run? or is parking basically "every man for himself" like the rest of the city.
95 to Stamford is a gamble, you either will hit alot of traffic and have the worst run, or empty highway and be there in 30 mints. I'd say go with Armonk. Hutchinson, 684 are more interesting than 95 IMO.
Hey>>> pending on whether or not Im in Vegas that weekend, (Mayweather-De La Hoya Fight) i would like to attend if am in NY... not sure what ill bring, but since the Ferraris will be in LA, it will most likely be the M5... I didnt attend last years event hence will be a new face>>> so long as the invite is still open, myself and my younger brother (14) will oblige...
wow nice stable of horses!! Yes, the invite is open; when you're sure about being in NY, let me know...and I will add you to the list.
