It actually looks nice. I would have expected something more tacky from them for some reason.

Also, $12mil seems low for 9000ft in Malibu. Is it on the ocean?

 

Not sure, they just showed it on TV and said "they just put their Malibu estate on the market for $12 mil" and showed an aerial pic. I was on the CB site anyway looking for another home in the LA area so I looked it up. It looks to me like the market is softening a bit with alot of homes not moving and everyone willing to negotiate big time. Not sure if I want to get another house or what, my gf wants to get an apartment at The Promenade in Hollywood for 6 months so we can take our time and look around. Unless I find another deal of a lifetime I am not going to make a move.My search came back with over 4000 listings and I was very specific on the price range and area. I would expect that with a broad search but with specifics I was quite suprised.

 

Geez can you imagine how long it is going to take to clean the stank out of that place........

Whereabouts is "The Promenade" Apt. building? I don't recollect it by name.

I was wrong, I asked and she said The Palazzo is where she wants to temporarily move into. Her friend used to live at The Promenade in Burbank when she first went to LA so she is still in teh habit of saying Promenade

No, the house isnt ocean front... that house is located in a more private area up away from the ocean thus the land/ space... and your right, if it were to be an ocean front, the value would have near doubled...

I noticed that too, I wonder why they don't have any interior pics? Probably don't want to show the 15" bw tv w/bunny ears sitting on some milk crates and Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia everywhere.
