well, as the title says, im going to Ferrari Denmark tomorrow, to see a 348 GTB.
Can anyone tell me the specs of the brakes on the 348´s?
Rotor size, and number of caliper pistion?

Does the brake system change over the 348 models/year?

Is the engine in the GTB the same as the tb?,and what causes the Hp increase?

The GTB has a slightly higher max RPM and a little different intake plenum. I believe the extra HP is mostly from the higher RPM allowed. Don't know the brake specifications. Good luck, try sending a PM to Henkie, he is in the Netherlands I think.

    Welcome to Ferrarichat Lars. :):)
Why do you want to know the rotor size and pistons in calipers? :)
They are all the same, throughout all 348's. :)
They are single piston calipers and I forget the disc diameter sorry. If no one chimes in here with the correct specs, I will let you know tomorrow if you like. :) Later 348's, GTB's, had 20HP more and higher redline. :)

Brakes on later ('93 and up) are Brembo 4 piston calipers on all four wheels. Earlier model had different brand, but still 4 piston calipers all the way around.

GTB was a later Euro model ('93 and '94) so it should have Brembo 4 piston calipers on all 4. I don't know the specs off hand, but my '94 tb has upgraded slotted rotors with stock brembo calipers. This was a challenge car, so stock brakes with upgraded pads should work fine for tracking.

The GTB also had slight upgraded motor. 119G (as apposed to the 119H block for US cars) that had larger pleniums, different cams, and more compression. This brough hp up to 320.

Now I feel completely silly!! :):)
I confirmed with another Fchatter (wont mention any names ;)) about the 348 brakes and he told me they were single piston calipers all round and were the same brakes used throught ALL 348's. :)
I wanted some rebuild kits for my calipers, thats why I asked him to confirm for me. :)
    Sorry about that. :):)
