speedtest my website

please click a test and report how long the timer says it takes to complete. if you'd like to run it a few times to get a consistent number that'd be great, just hit CTRL-F5 to re-run it.

test one = 284kb

the point of this is i'm having lots of problems connecting to AussieExotics.com, this happens every month or two for days at a time until i bug my (cheap) host to fix something, then i have to stuff around and fix a bunch of my code too.

i'd just like to gauge how the speed of the site is for users around the world, it's predominantly useful for aussies so i'll be transferring to a local host sometime but it's very expensive here, and there's still lots of people around the planet who don't mind looking at the pics and vids.

my results here in adelaide australia look like this (when i can actually *get* to the site )

284 = 2.4 secs
1120 = 4.1 secs
1408 = 12.1 secs

be interested to hear your results.

thanks guys, it seems the throughput speeds are adequate for the most part - good enough for what i pay - it's just the ping times and uptime that's a concern.

that's what CTRL-F5 is for.

 

the website is now on an aussie host, anyone care to retry the test to give me an idea how fast it is in europe and the states?

interesting... got a little slower for you, but not much.
