I feel like a total moron for asking this, but can anyone tell me exactly where in a 355 the turn signal relay is located?

    Thanks in advance, Dave

I don't have my car handy right now, but the two primary locations for fuses and relays is the front passenger footwell and left side in the trunk, under the cover with the two black plastic thumb screws.

If the 355 is like the 348 in this regard, the flasher relay is by your left knee, just behind the lower lip of the dash, just above the upper edge of the carpet.

And one would think it would be in or near either of those locations. Alas, it is not so simple, or, I'm a bigger moron than I thought :(

I looked at my owner's manual...it appears the flasher relay is in the front trunk...left side as previously described. After you remove the cover with the two thumb screws, there will be another black plastic cover with two more plastic thumb screws. Becareful when removing the second set, not to drop them as they will fall into difficult to recover nooks and crannies...ask me how! ;) Then inside of the cover (IIRC) had a printed key to what relays and fuses go where. The owner's manual does too, Section L, page L21 (picture) and L23 (key) to which relay goes to what.

Dave, I agree with what you have found, however that is not the turn signal relay - it is the flasher relay! I don't know the difference in what they do, but the difference in cost is significant. I figure it must be IN the passenger compartment somewhere, as you can hear it click when the indicator is on. I wish I still had my 355, then I'd go look!

No further listing of relays in the wsm that I can see. There is a wiring diagram, but the relays are not clearly idenified (at least for my untrained eye). The give id numbers to all the switches, bulbs and such, but not for the relays. Wish I was an Electrical Engineer... :(
