    What is a fair market trade in value for a yellow/black F355 F1 spider 1999, 3k miles, 2 owners, needs 5 year major service please?

    Trade in and private party sale are two differents worlds..A well documented, clean car needing a major sold private party should fetch around $87-$90K The mileage helps you, but not having a major hurts you----I would guess a dealer will knock off every nickel they can to get the price down to make it on the back end for profit. Just a guess dealer may offer $80-$83K range...

    retail on the car with the major is in the high 90's. i would say if they offer you in the high 80's its a fair deal
