That car is here on ExoticSpotter. The comment is: "Laramie population: 25,000 Altitude: 7220 ft. Why is this car in a hick town like this. There are only 7 BMW's in this town. I think the owner is an ex-NFL player" Then the owner posted his own picture and replied: "Parked on Second Street in beautiful, historic downtown Laramie (what a joke that is! It used to be a whorehouse district) this 550 is the second-fastest and most expensive car in Wyoming (after an Enzo in Jackson). This 1997 Maranello is seen here with HRE 547R custom wheels, Stebro Center exhaust pipe, Quicksilver mufflers and G2 wheel spacers for higher- speed acceleration and top speed at altitude (7-8,000 feet)) and overall stability, at speeds in excess of 170mph. The car is NOT owned by an ex-NFL player (as some clown named Danny suggested when he posted a picture of it in June, 2005). It's owned by an artist and author and investor from Laramie who eats clowns in pickup trucks like Danny who think Laramie is a hick town and life is a race to the next stop light!" Gotta love you Ferrari people.
Must be - same aftermarket wheels. I've never seen it in person, but yellow seems to be a beautiful color on the 550/575.
A 360 Spyder (silver) east bound on I70 going through Vail (about 150 yards or so from the Village exit). Congratulations to the owner, its the nicest day of the year so far, I'm glad you took advantage of it! First Ferrari spotted on the road so far this year! Can't wait for the season to really get going.
Tonight I believe Berry's Veyron was at the Pepsi Center to see the Nuggets lose. I'm still in Atlanta, but my friends saw and photographed it for a while. I'll post photos with their permission later.
I saw a Bright Orange GT3RS on the south side of the Springs today with a "Happy Tag" on the back, wonder if it was the same? It looked great.
On I-25 going north today around 11:00: -A blue T-Rex, what a weird car. -Two vipers white Rt/10 and a sliver GTS -Green 308. So, did you take any pictures of the Porsches?
A line of Ferrari's at El Rancho including a red 360, a very nive silver F430 wth yellow calipers and an asortment of 80's era models. Sadly, I couldn't join the group and I missed them when I showed up to Scuderia Rampante in the pm. Maybe next time. -F
I went on the run yesterday, we had a 288 GTO, an F40, a silver Porsche Carrera GT, 2 430s, numerous 360s and F355s, 2 550s, 3 328s, 3 mondials, 1 308, and a 246 GTS. Here is a photo of the 288 GTO from my passenger, I did not get any great pictures, we were too busy driving and hanging on. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, no pics of the Porsches. I had tons of stuff going on at the time. And I'm guessing the orange one with the happy tag was the same one. This one had one too.
Give me a few days - they're coming! I bet you'll be able to see it yourself Monday night - the game's at 8:30pm, and who says lightning can't strike twice?
Yesterday (Saturday, 4/28) at around 12:30pm I saw a beautiful red (of course) F40 going northbound on I-25 just past Longmont. I was (of course) going southbound so only got a quick look at it. It seemed to have a black, aftermarket wing in place of the normal body-colored wing....? I called my friend a few minutes behind me to warn him it was coming, he loved it.
I'll be asleep Work early early. Might be worth it to pull a 2hr nap-night to go see the car though hehe.
The silver 360 with painted yellow calipers is back again today. Park outside my building in old town Ft Collins. Looks a lot cleaner this time.
Thanks to Kent for putting this together! It was great. The day was topped of with a GT3RS ride! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A Pantara, Porsche 993 C4S, a older Mercedes convertible (never been a big fan of Mercedes, so I've no clue as to what it was) and a column of what looked like Cobras (had to get my exit, so I'm not to sure) all east bound I70 going through Vail. I've seen several Pantara's at car shows before, but this is the first that I've seen on the road, I loved hearing that kind of rumble come out of something other then a Corvette.
