    I saw one myself today.
Saw it at the local car show.
Saw it at the local park.
    Saw it on the highway.

And best of all, when I got home and looked over my shoulder I saw it parked in my garage.

Don't want to hijack the thread but I'm just jacked after coming back from a run with a couple of 911's a Viper GTS and My QV.

Beautiful weather, good friends, and cars, life just doesn't get any better than that.

Sorry, just having some fun with you.

With less than 2,000 built over the life cycle of the car, they are truly a rare car. Many people will go a lifetime never having seen a Countach other than on a poster.

I still remember the first time I saw one in real life. It was incredible. The car was part of the Wilf Prentice collection (car #1121146.) The pictures on the ILR are from our first visit to his farm. I still display those very pictures in my office.

There is a really nice black anniversary edition with bronze wheels near my house but I've only seen it driving around about 5 times. I saw it about 5 times within a 3 month period and that was about 3 years ago. I haven't seen it since but I'm pretty sure he still owns it. Very cool car!!

OK, I tought that most people on this Forum know a Countach etc. ! If not, then -IMO- they don`t really know what they are talking about.

    Ciao!

Accepted! I live in a city in Germany with about 600,000 residents and we have about 30 Lamborghinis of all kind around together with no less than 2,000 Ferraris in a circle of 90 miles around. Yes, even here the Lamborghini is a rare car......................!

    Ciao!

  12. I couldn't believe they would make a car like that is what I thought when I saw one up close for the first time. I took mine out today & still think the same thing!

At a car show in Memphis in the late 80's I blew a whole roll of film on a white Countach that was supposedly one of the Miami Vice cars.

Just a few months ago I heard an incredible sound, looked up and saw a red one drive by. Reminded me of the poster I had on my wall as a teen.
