I'm saving up for a new paintball marker so I need to sell my computer and need a price check. The parts are as following AMD Athlon 3000+ processor Nvidia xfx 6600gt Gigabyte K8 triton Aspire chameleon series 550w psu Thermaltake tsunami dream silver ATX tower Saitek eclipse 2 keyboard Razer copperhead first edition mouse Linksys wireless g card 80 gigbite harddrive cd drive I can get pictures in a bit Does anyone know how much that would sell for?
Are you serious? Prices drop that much? The case was $150, the mouse $90, keyboard $70. And I know that the rest of that gets cheaper but that stuff
I don't really know how much would your computer cost since I'm not an expert. What kind of paintball gun are you planning to buy? Do you play woodsball or speedball?
I want an Ion, but I play both speed and woods. I like woods more but I hate long range tippmanns so I want an ion which is good for both.
Yep, part it out. I built a very similar box (same case, Athlon 64) etc a couple of years ago, put about $1700 in it (had more HD than you, Raptors in Raid 0) but I think the price they are giving you is about right.. No more than $500 tops.. Case is nice, but a lot of buyers don't care about the look. Todd
Zupra, you aren't going to get much from that computer -- especially with Core 2 Duo's expecting a major price drop and quad-cores expected to go mainstream with Barcelona coming out soon (AMD's new chip). Your best bet? Throw it in the closet and use it as a file server and put F@H on there and crunch for the Ferrarichat team
Probably just about $400. $60 processor, $80 video card, decent PSU and case, somewhat small HD. How much memory? Is it a PCI-Express or AGP 8x video, do you have a SATA HD or ATA?
And if anyone wants some shields http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150117700940 But yeah, I need to clean one of the side fans and I should be good.
I was also looking up the specs on the motherboard processor and graphics card. I think I'll be building my own tower instead. Good luck with the sale.
yep computers depreciate like a mofo... every month, there is a new graphics card, processor etc...maybe more like $425 would be a good place to start? on an optimistic side...
