Is Porsche overhyped?

If no one has picked a date yet, can we hold off till the weekend of July 6th? I'll be in Vegas for the weekend and would love to meet up with some Fchatters and see a good race.

Like I posted before. Alex directed a post to me in post 273 to "name my terms". In post 276 I told him to PM me for details. He of course didn't.

And even Cajun said he would be here in a couple of months. He never Pm'd either.

Both are sitting back waiting for someone {who they brought a challenge to} to show up.

Since they both want to challenge me, it's up to them to meet me.

They're both doing as much mudslinging as possible to downplay this.

All I need is a couple of days notice before they show up. And since Cajun said he'll be here anyway, it shouldn't be a problem for him to PM me when he's about to arrive. {I of course doubt he will}.

So encourage your friends to follow through on their ego's.

 

what is it? is it a production based car? or...is a formula atlantic machine or sports racer w/ a cosworth bdd?

 

Show up to find out or wait for Alex or Cajun to show up {I'm sure someonw will bring a camera}. I was told to use any car and I will.

 

well...i think that this is getting a bit beyond silly. i assume that you will be racing a current or near current f-1 machine and poor alex will be using his street 996tt car.

 

Okay, but Alex was the guy who named a place and a date, you havn't mentioned any date or time yet. I don't know if any pms were sent, but I only read one post which mentioned the challenge.
I hope there'll be a throwdown soon

 

that'd be interesting. would be a tough match for his tt to keep up with a 360cs or similar.

I do not know. If you have watched any of the superspeeders dvds, then you saw two brand new CS being killed by a stock 360 modena. That same 360 modena was destroyed by a stock 996 turbo S. Lets just say I would not be suprised if the 996 tt put up one hell of fight against a CS.

He told me to name my terms and I did. If he doesn't want to show, that's fine and 100% expected. No big loss though Cajun said he will be here in a couple of months... unless that was a total lie or he backs out which again is 100% expected.

Alex won't even PM me for details so I guess he's out. I'll just wait for Cajun, it'll give me time to work on the suspension.

Word of advise...be very careful who you call out, if your lucky they will just accept your challenge...if your not, they will make you live up to your end of the deal! Be very thoughtfull with your reply to this...Are you really ready for this (?), beacause at his point IT IS NOT A GAME ANYMORE.. I will not hold it against you if you choose to back out and apologize to this forum at this point...


If you want to play with a real F1 car on the track, then that can be arranged as well....

PS you may want the track layout before deciding which car to use.

 

Not only do you have a PM..but I will provide you with parking at the race track as well as all the tools you need to 'tune your suspension'....I will also Comp your room for the night before at the Casino of your choosing on the Strip...

I would have to go back and read the entire thread to verify, but if 62 250 GTO was asked to set the terms then, if anyone here is actually serious, it should go that way.

Anyone care to go back and quote the posts in order so it can be sorted out as to who said what and at what time? At this point it is just confusing...

Ok, here is some confusion. It says "name your terms" but then, "come find out how serious I am."

That can be taken to read "you name the place" or "come to my place"

 

I bet Alex wouldn't show up to a meet.

Cajun challenged me.

Alex told me to name my terms.

I answered.

Alex hasn't yet accepted the terms.

Alex and Cajun still haven't answered the challenge.

As for what car I will use, it isn't stated that I have to use a Porsche or a Ferrari. Only that I am able to lose/sell the car I bring.

If this isn't yet clear someone ask a question.
