Well, the Mondial is down. I went to lunch today and on the way out I got nothing. I turned the key and never heard a sound. I had my wife try an on the fly rescue that got me to a parking lot about 20 mins later. The Mondi turned off on me on the go. It's most likely an alternator. I guess Enzo was looking out for me because I was only about 10 mins. away from good old Ed's Affordable. Two hours and a flat bed later I got to the shop and met Ed. He's a really nice guy and I'm glad as well as appreciative that he can help me. With that said, it looks like I'll be out of service for a few days or so. Good Call Andreas, I think I'm where I need to be. Oh, and of course the 355 from Exotic Car Share is still "up in the air".

Glad your car is at Ed's; I'll check in on it tomorrow.

Yeah, that 355 has become a thorn in Ed's side. The problem is that Exotic can't come up with the money to repair it, though they had him tear it down to find the problem.

There's probably a legal battle going on between Exotic and their client.

The client admitted to driving it hard and it dropped the guides, the valves grew and the rest is history!

Sorry to hear that the Mondi is sick,

    You're in good hands there.

I had a similar experience with my other V8 over the weekend, but it was just the battery from months of winter storage. Easier fix.

I'd like to say Ed's is awesome. They are on the ball. I told them that I was going to have the alternator rebuilt yesterday and I'd give it back to them for the install. Today, in the morning no less, I recieved a phone call from Ed's. They've located an alternator for me that should be there tomorrow for cheaper than my rebuild quote. To add to that, my car will probably be ready in the afternoon. I don't know about you guys but I've never had any service done on my F-Car that quickly. I'm gonna' be on the road this weekend, amazing! I'll mostlikely pick the Mondi up on friday.

And your car is inside all snug and warm tonight, keeping the 355 company! :)

No! My car is home in it's own bed. It would not be caught in bed with a 355!
