The dash light behind my speedo. went out. What part # and how do I replace it? Is it difficult to get to without cracking the plastic lense that covers the instrument panel? I guess it makes sense to replace all of them once it is opened up? Thoughts and instructions, please!

Great links Rik, however this repair is really not difficult.

The bezel (or panel) around the gauge can be removed to reveal the small screws that hold in each gauge along the out line of each face. Undo the screws, then slide the gauge toward you to access the back and replace the bulb.

Please be careful when you remove said panel as each panel has small attachment points that can be fragile.

You can do it all from sitting in the drivers seat. Nothing to it.

Ha! Ohhh Rik. That is the million dollar question. I assume by that pic that your looking at the clock area / Above the radio. By what I have seen & done, this one is a bugger. I have a switch or two in there on mine that I have been meaning to tackle (front bonnet, and gas flap). I will get at it sometime this month and see what I can find.

Wish me luck, I'm going in!

thanks....that area is exactly what I mean....looks like another winter project

BTW, don't know the exact spec on the switch, but did replace one once, which is why I need to get back in there, and turns out a BOSCH is exact specs....albeit, minus the horsie and $$
