I'm not sure if the new owner would be able to join "the most exclusive driving club in the world".........

Only 2 million euros, thats pretty cheap for an FXX.

Why wouldn't this car be sold/auctioned through S.p.A?? This makes no sense to me. I believe Ferrari is auctioning the FXX prototype at the factory why not this one? If you wanted to buy one wouldn't you want the support?

Selling an FXX makes no sense, its like selling the P4/5. I'm guessing but Ferrari would probably take a chunk if you sold it through the factory.

The Auction Fees at the Factory Auction are the same as at this auction.

I believe the only dutchmen who own a FXX are the van Merksteijn brothers
(one of them also owned the 599 which burned down last week)

    Could this be it?

The protoype FXX that was scheduled for this months RM auction has been withdrawn, further development work is needed but should be offered by RM later this year/next year

It is interesting to note the gravity of something like this. It has the feeling of something much more like a corporate bidding, than what is but the selling of a car. Ferrari - top of their field.

Exactly. It would likely go the the factory for sale, at minimum it would be a factory authorized sale. That way the FXX owner/seller might be able to retain their favorite son status. I would guess that Ferrari has a buy back clause in the original sales contract to prevent the car from going to an unacceptable home.

Pointless to buy that car. Buyer gets blacklisted from buying future flagships, and also cannot compete in the races.
