Redoing TWO rooms: (picture and update thread)

well, my sister just got an apartment, and since i've got some time on my hands, (summer vacation) i'm going to move into her room, and my parents just bought new furniture to move into where my current room is (including a big screen tv, YES! ) so i'm going to paint and spackle up both rooms, do some other repairs, etc. i'll keep things updated on this thread.
here are some pics of my soon to be new room, currently spackled and taped, all of the faceplates for light switches and electrical plugs are off, i'm finishing some other things off tonight and will keep it updated. (it's gonna be a no-fun weekend for me, ) but it will be all worth it in the end

haha, just wait to see it when i'm done, it's going to be a p-i-m-p crib, mini fridge and all. im even thinking about going to a junk yard to try to pick up some random stuff, like i'm going to try to find a diecent condition mercedes grille

 

we're doing "oyster," an off-white, thx for the advice about the outlets!

 

well, one room is painted and i've started moving in, it's got a nice walk in closet which i'll probably wind up using half of, whereas my sister managed to fill it up all the way. the blinds are going to be changed, and a couple of minor things, but i'll be finishing up tommorow and post final pics of this room and start with the before pictures of the second room.
