Condolences to the deceased womens family. Very tragic how someones life gets cut short.

Frank, you don't know me and I only know you through your diligent contributions to F-chat. I'm glad to know that you're physically ok. I sincerely hope you will get through this emotionally difficult time.

I wish there was something I could do to help. I lost a close friend in a motorcycle accident and it was rough getting through. My friends family and fiance have finally gotten through and moved on. I hope you'll find the strength and courage to do the same soon. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

    Best regards Peter

Frank, I just found out (I haven't followed this thread until this morning) - and I can't say anything that everyone on this board hasn't already said.

We're praying for all of you - family takes care of family. Hang in there.

My heartfelt condolences to Lori's family on their loss. Frank you are in our prayers at this unbearable tragic time. I for one know how deeply you care about others and how you are always telling drivers to be safe and how you were instrumental in finding a safe place for the CC car meet. Let me know anything I can do to help.

    Dave and Family.

wow, this is shocking, to say the least. I don't know Frank well, I talked to him a few times at shows, but he is an awesome guy. He is one of the last people something like this should happen to. I hope he's OK, and I hope nothing bad happens to him.

My prayers are with Frank as well as the girl's family.

Frank is one of the most decent, responsible people I have ever met on f chat (or anywhere else, for that matter) Hard to believe something like this could happen to two innocent people, brought together under unfortunate circumstances.

Hang in there, Frank. You've made a lot of friends out here, and we're all here to help you through this in any way we can.

Any one see that really large (like 100x100 feet) sign off the 405 just north of LAX (past La Cienega) that has the caricature of an attorney and the words "Welcome to California, the sue-you state"?

Accidents happen (and why they are called 'accidents'), I'm not taking sides, and the accident that happened @ Crystal Cove is very tragic for everyone. I feel for everyone involved, including the victim. But society is a litigious one, California no less, and many attorneys prey on this sort of incident.

Frank is very much a part of the Fchat community in So. Cal, we all know him, he's a very nice and genuine guy, and he's done much for the Ferrari community as well as be a good friend to many of us. I'm guessing it's a matter of time before some form of legal action is taken (and we all pray that it doesn't).

This is an unusual post for me to write, but I felt some planning was in order, and thus this is the post to start some action. Again, hopefully no legal action is taken, but if it happens, it's going to be incredibly costly. If you can, please consider donating to a legal cause for Frank. I've done this without consulting with Frank (knowing the kind of person he is, he'd refuse this), so if you can, please consider contributing to Frank's cause. Hell, even if he's done some work for you (direct or indirect), think of it as contributing to his livelihood (and no disrespect to others like Jay and Drew who do incredible work and are making it their livelihood as well).

If interested, make a Paypal (www.paypal.com) payment to [email protected] putting 'Legal Fund' in the title (or Photo Work if that's what you wish to contribute too). I've already made a contribution, and hope many others will consider the same.

To those that think this is out of line, feel free to send me a PM telling me to go to hell. To those that are for this, please, contribute anything you can, as every penny will count.

Anyone that wishes to set up a fund for the victim, I'd be happy to contribute an equal amount.

I have been unable to stop thinking about this since I read it. It is a tragedy on so many levels.

Two innocent lives shattered by pure coincidence. It could have had so many other endings. Such a freak event has to have some divine involvement. There must be a reason for beautiful and guiltless lives to be eternally joined in such a tragic way.

My prayers are with Lori who is in a better place. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that Frank is dealing with. I pray that he can heal this tremendous wound knowing that working through this is a test that has been set for him. Please be strong Frank. You should bear no guilt – this was not premeditated – it was a complete and total fluke.

We are here for you Frank.

Wow, I just read through this thread, I had no idea. What a nightmare for everyone involved, talk about wrong place at the wrong time. Thank goodness Frank has some respect for the victim and isn't trying to flee the country on a private jet like those Gumballers. RIP to the victims and my best to Frank in this terrible accident. :(
