Does anyone know why the Mont-Tremblant and Ottawa "Ferrari Festivals" are always on the same weekend? It's not like there are so many Ferrari Festivals in Eastern Canada that there is no alternative. Why would two groups of Ferraristi choose to halve their potential participant list? Maybe next year they could talk to each other ??????

This is an intentional repost from the Ottowa Ferrari Festival thread.

I'm just as puzzled as you. I know last year the Ottawa guys said they would try not to conflict with the Tremblant event for this year, but looks like they did it again. Why do they purposely compete with each other???

    Funny guys :)
I have my car back on the road. Lots of tinkering left to do but if runs GREAT! While the tank was out getting fixed I decided to rebuild and tune up my distributors (have 2 of those as well). After cleaning, replacing bearings and very carefully getting both advance curves the same, car pulls great again. No spluttering, Weber back spitting greatly reduced, and no transition hickups at 3500 RPM. Car felt like it just wanted to pull and run to 7000 rpm all day!
So barring outright rain next Saturday another Ferrari will make the scene.

    Hello All,
Were coming from Detroit. Any one else leaving from the Windsor area and want to meet up for the drive? Some of of us from Michigan are meeting at the Windsor Casino in the AM.
    Larry,
I am only coming with my Elise so you can take the DB7 off of the list. Thanks for setting this up. We are really looking forward to the facility.

And how do we define 'sports cars' ?

If you have to ask, then you don't have one.
