Cop Situation At FDR Park - NYU Hospital Event

What happened? As I was leaving I saw a ton of cops pulling in. Did anyone stay to see what the deal was?

 

some one told them there was a donut convention there, i even saw barry pull a u turn to go back to the park. heeeeheeee

Its what happens when people rev engines and do burnouts for half an hour in a state park. Eventually, someone's going to get their car strip searched.

 

They should have done an anal cavity on Ed.
i am surprised Barry could not talk the off duty cop down, he must have been such a prick.

 

they kept ed on the side of the road for an hour. apparently that's the prize for "best burnout"

What a crock. We were providing a much needed public service by protecting the state park pavement with our rubber. It'll last longer!

 

once I get a copy of the disposition, I'll post it up

 

They, the police, are just doing their job; as the offenders, so too, were obviously not doing theirs (i.e. driving in a public park like some 'jamoke'.) Makes for bad publicity for an otherwise good intentioned event.

yea,he was beyond pizzed ........he took it very personally. He was the one that actually set up the green pick-up trucks stand at the ends, next one blowing by, was going to get blocked in......I guess I paid haha.
