    for those who are interested, the results from this weekends auction were:

    lusso $450k + 10% premium = $495k
    330gtc $210k + 10% = $231k
    boano $510k + 10% = $561k
    daytona "spyder" $230k + 10 % = $253k
    dino gts $180k + 10% = $198k

    i missed the 308 gtb go across the block

    Its interesting that at auction lately there are far more cut Daytonas selling than coupes. In SML for the past year more cut coupes have sold at auction than regular coupes. If somewhere around 150 cars were cut leaving 1150 or so coupes you would sure not expect that.

    although, maybe "cut coupe" is a correct explanation, this daytona really didn't have it's roof cut, but rather removed after an "accident".

    it is a silver and black car. frankly, i am not a big follower of the car, and i know the devil is in the details, but an overall impression of the car was it was a very nice car. no greatly noticeble flaws. the interior was very nice and clean.

    I don't think they post results at all........I looked for them last year.

    You have to note them as they roll thru, as many buyers did.....

    I hate to argue with you but I was video taping during the Lusso and it sold for $460,000 + commission fee. :)

    are you 100% certain? they were calling 460 as the next bid. auctioners typically ask if they have the next number. what you are hearing is the asking. i may be incorrect, but i know who bought the car and am almost positive about the price.

    That last number they were calling was $470,000.

    I think this is because owners hang on to their coupes, thus not as many are up for sale. Cut spiders on the other hand do the usual car yard/auction/etc. walk ... bit like painting a car resale red to flick it.
