    Only 130 in my 360.

What is the consequence of being caught going way over 100 in the US?

    NEWSFLASH!! :D:D
    I have now gone 220km/h (136mph) in my 348. :eek::eek:

That 220km/h was done in a 100km/h zone. So here in Aus, I am sure that would be an 'indifinte' loss of licence and a HUGE fine! No jail time though I am sure. :):) I still dont to find out what is the case though. ;);)

JAIL, possible confication of the car .... Not a good thing. However, get a good lawyer and maybe it will only cost you $15-$20K in fees and fines. Then again, maybe the officer would be a fan of the marque and let you go for a ride in the car. :)
BTW: I would never drive my 355 over the posted limit, honestly, never ... officer.

135 mph passenger in 308 QV in the UK.. a long time ago

130mph in the rain riding a Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo

145mph in the dry riding a Yamaha RD500

My most recent joy was overtaking a Gallardo on a sweeping turn at 125mph driving my "old" Porsche and the driver admitting that he had to lift. try as I may I could catch the F430 in front..:( In Arizona

140ish in 355 F1 GTS on the track. Of course when the F50 and Formula 1 (circa 200) cars passed me it was a thrill too.

Faster than that in the 360 F1 Spider, with the top down, of course. :)

I wasn't driving, but riding along on the track. Was in Linder's F40 going around 150, then a 360 going 135-ish a little while afterwards the F40 ride.

Thought about seeing how fast I could get my sisters little Tiburon up too one night, but couldn't get the courage :D :D

In 2004 the washing machine accidentally hit 1800 rpm when I forgot to load anything and it overreved, and just last week 12000 rpm with the angle grinder, cutting off the door skins on my rusty 308.

Last week in my Gallardo I did between 160-170 in 5th at 8000rpm. I was just about to shift into 6th but passed a cop going the other way so I ducked off the highway instead.

Except for those in Germany, most people here are probably risking jail and license revocation. 100 mph is a big deal in the US. News reports of police car chases often tout "speeds up to 100 mph!"

In VA it used to be a day in jail for each mph over 90. Now its supposed to be an even tougher penalty.

As a driver- 141 in my old Audi TT (stupid speed limiter)
As a passenger- 160 ish in my friends Turbo Civic, the speedo stopped at 130, but we kept pulling hard long after that

And a ticket for 103 in a 55 plus neglegent driving. It didn't help that the cop could hear me downshifting to 3rd in my old Honda before he even saw me.

Last summer in 2006 I was passenger in a 360 going 250 km/h in a 2 km long tunnel in Norway.

What a sound form the F engine accelerating hard in the tunnel.

As a note: Norway is plastered with speed cameras. Back in Denmark 3 weeks after the trip to Norway, I read in a paper that a Norwegian had been sentenced to 2 weeks in jail for 173 km/h.....…….

Southern Europe (Italy and Spain) is still driveable - barely. Even France has been impossible for the past few years.

Tracking and closed-road rallying are becoming very popular.
