Who up for renting Raceway Park for a day

I was looking into it year or two ago and renting one side of the parking lot (to run auto-x) cost $1500 for a day. Would be nice to be able to set up some 1/4 mile runs + bbq + auto-x session without any public/cops.

 

I'm game- and I'm sure a bunch of the "usual suspects" would be in (Emil, Noah, Rob, etc)..

 

i know a few guys who would be into that idea....

 

I'm renting Atco raceway October 4th. It's NYMC members come first, but there will probably be a few spots available for others as well.

 

I'd be down, I've been to two Acto rentals so far this year.

Oh yeah, and I think I also got englishtown for July 11th.

 

hmm, two tracks. That might be worth the membership costs. Would there be anything more we would have to pay for track days over the normal runs you guys do?

 

I'm not sure yet about englishtown, i'm still working on that and pocono. Atco will be included with membership at no cost.

right now we have 10 member slots taken, out of a possible 20. i'll put your name down as confirmed, but if members sign up, i'll have to boot you.... just the way it goes.

Just out of curiousity...not that many of you are hard pressed for money...but englishtown has a cruise night every first monday night of the month, and if you go you can ran a pass for free (really really unregulated) and they do let fast cars run last time i went my friends dad (Jburke) brought his Ford GT (708rwhp) and they let him run a pass without saying "dont run better than this..." so its just a thought, its a kinda fun thing to do, its mostly hotrods and muscle cars, still a fun monday night
