You should contact Wil Maranello Racing Cars. He can look at the car and do a PPI later if you wish. He is a member on FChat. Good luck .

They have been in business a long time, but only recently at this newer location. No way of knowing how honest they really are however.

Now for the life of it I cannot understand this:

You know the dealer has a bad reputation but you are still willing to do business with them.
I can't wait till you post: "I have been screwed by...., who can help?", because I will give you an ear full.

There are so many more things than just the car that can go wrong on a deal....but I guess you need to make your own experience...

I only know one person who bought from them. They thought they got a good deal when they picked the car up. After a few weeks, some things broke, then some more. After about 6 months the buyer was convinced he got a lemon. Sold the car and never bought another Ferrari. YMMV. Get the car checked out for sure. I like the color combo and the fact it is a 6 speed. Let us know what happens!

Well, I would much rather buy the car from a dealer with a good rep such as yourself but I checked your web site and you don't have that color combination - manual 6 speed - mileage - etc. Besides, the cars you have that I might be interested in appear to be Euro Imports which means they most likely wouldn't pass California emissions without some additional work. Hard to find a no nonsense car without a story isn't it?

I won't buy the car until/unless it is checked out and from what I've heard, Will at Maranello Racing will give me the straight scoop and won't let me down if I decide to pursue it.

And don't worry, I won't be posting a "I got screwed who can help?". Worst case I would post a "I got screwed in spite of the due diligence I performed and you guys were right. "

It does bother me though that your post implies you would take pleasure in my misfortune if it comes to that. But if you want to give me an earful please... do it now...before I make a mistake. PM if you'd like - I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Others misfortune never pleases me. It is the simple concept of buying from someone that has a bad rep that bothers me. There are dealers I would never do business with either becasue they did screw me or someone that I know and trust. The list unfortunately is increasing.
Go on the hunt for the car. Don't buy from someone that has a bad rep. This is what keeps those dealers in business and destroy the reputation of all good dealers. Especially true here in Florida.

The hunt for the right car is the best part of the Ferrari ownership. Find the right car from the right person. It is not that you are looking for a color combo that is so unique that you can only chose from 2 cars. In fact there is a blue one at "The New NEw NEW Autotoystore" (did I mention new..???). Not in a long shot that I would tell you go look there before you check the reputation of THAT dealer.
What I am telling you is go and look for it in other avenues.

Besides there are a lot of cars out on the market that we have access to but that are not on the website. Also some exclusive listings that are not listed or not yet listed. From a 360Challenge to a 360 Stradale to a 333SP. The answer though to this color combo is: no, I don't have it right now and am in fact looking for the same color combo for another client and yes he has been at that and the other dealer and comes back to me to find him the right car :)
