ohhhh...u mean like a....SL55 AMG. Which also happens to be one of my favourite SLs. I am currently looking at a CLS55AMG to possibly replace my RRS.
"There are some rumours around the Ferrari F149 project saying that the car will be already shown at half 2008 and it will not be proposed as many believed under the brand Dino. It will be a Ferrari in every single part and in its philosophy, with 4 true seats, front engine and a beuatiful Coupè-Cabrio version! The picture of the test cars out of Maranellos factory hides the C+C solution, infact it seems that this solution was originally made to be adopted on the open version of Maserati Granturismo: that is why rear section of the car really seems like the one from Maserati. We dont have any news on which V8 engine will be used for F149 but we know the price that will be around 135.000 euros: we bet many Porsche 911 customers will think about buying this next Ferrari jewel." I doubt if its a Maserati coz the GT is about to be launch and the QP auto is just out. I spoke to "someone" at HSM who believes the pricing of the "Dino""F149" will be in the region of $600k+/- or about $150-$200k cheaper than a F430. It would make sense I suppose to go head to head against the Porsche GT3 or Turbo.
If you notice the headlights of the GT..the US version has black headlamps (2nd photo) vs european/asian specs with chrome lights. I am talking about the inside of the lamps. I was imagining what my GT combo would be... Bianco Fuji with US lights and black rims. Rosso/Black interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting observations, never noticed that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Bianco Fuji would be pure + beautiful but it appears that white is not even offered as an option.
hey lung, i live in Queens... Penang's not that good anymore...theres a better place out in Flushing called "sentosa". There's also a place down on Hudson street that serves chili crabs and nasi lemak! Foods getting better here. Im undecided on where to move back to...anyone in SG looking to hire a grad student from NYU? I want to do some IB or PE kind of stuff.
hi jon... almost half are indon related owners? wow... i thought at most, only a quarter of the owners are indos, didnt expect up to half.
Lung, I am also looking at one, I hope we are not fighting over the same car..haha Des, have you got your new car yet? I want to see.
Always feel the SL range are the perfect all rounders, cabrio without the leaks, smooth power delivery, elegant night out vehicle, good choice! I would like to see it up close too!
Happen to chance upon pictures of the 2008 Godzilla aka GTR. Looks like one mean machine! Nice. Quoted Then again, the GT-R will come in three flavors, standard, V-Spec and EVO, so most of these shots may be showing the GT-R EVO trim that ups the car's aggression by a factor of ten. The translation of the article accompanying these photos tell us that the standard GT-R will start at $57,000 and feature a 480-horsepower version of the VQHRTT. Whether or not the twin-turbo V6 is 3.7L or 3.8L large wasn't mentioned. The V-Spec GT-R, meanwhile, will start at $67,000, while the top perfroming EVO spec will begin at $94,000 and feature a 530-horsepower version of the VQHRTT engine while shedding 220 lbs. from the car's overall weight through the use of lighter seats, ceramic rotors and the like.
