Beings that F1 Grand Prix isn't as popular here in the states leaves lots of tix available---it's only a hop, skip, & a jump away as campared to crossing the big pond.

    I'm there!
And Ron, IIRC, didn't you get a room downtown at the same place I'm at?

I do have reservations downtown, I can not remember where. Last year I stayed at the Westin, got to meet Michael Schumacher and Jean Todt.

Lucky youuu! You better remember where!

Checked yesterday for hotels/motels w/in beltway, everything FULL--had to settle for beltway action. Better to plan these things a year in advance.

I'm crossing the pond (it's only a hop away) to go to the 24 Hours of Le Mans which is the same weekend. Le Mans is planned about 2 years in advance for places to stay unless you want to comute via TGV. Most of the F1 races require plans made well in advance.

Crossing that pond is a little more of an undertaking for me--my jumps are primarily to the carribean.

Thanks, Carol, for pointing out to me@ profile, Somehow it was deleted!
    Will update right away!

Thanks, Carol, for pointing out to me@ profile, I had filled it out, and somehow it was deleted--I wonder if it had anything to do will that qualifying result post I made this past friday(I was unaware of the 'no posting results' rule at the time--and still can't find the rule on the site--but I won't do that again!)

Will fill out profile out again--right away!

    I'm going.

Looking forward to have a refreshing discussion with Tifosiron about his boy. I'm sure we won't find common ground. :) But that won't stop us from enjoying our drinks.

My one and only Indy GP was the Michelin/Bridgestone fiasco. I would rather go to Montreal.

I'll be there. Staying in the Brickyard Crossing. I get to wake up every morning to the sound of a race car. That's the way to start a day off awesome.

OK, looks like I have rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton on Meridian. I also have a reservation at the Fairfield Inn NW for a really ridiculously low rate.

Lucky you again with that short sprint from Homewood! I saw that ridiculously low rate. They all showed up 'full' last sunday nite when I checked. Got's to reserve 'early'! When does F1 season schedule first come out, and at that point I'm guessing all within F1 has already jumped on accommodations?!

I'm in downtown at the Conrad. I hope to see some F1 personalities. I understand some of them stay there. I may up and drive the 599.
