    Hi Philippe,

Yes, I think it it is!

Race # was 34. It was an early series 1 Islero campaigned by Paul Rilly from the area near Tours.

    Thanks a lot!
I had never seen a picture of the car before, GREAT!

    Ciao!
    Marcel

hmmmm....for my opinion its not "the best looking car of all time!". This is IMO a little bit over-enthusiastic!! Let`s say it like this: the ISLERO was always a car with presence and - style!

    Ciao!

Marcello, are you sure? I brokered the ice-blue Islero (#6637) 1,5 years ago to Holland. It came from Munich/Germany. Perhaps there are now 6 in the Tulips-Country???

    Ciao!

Well, in that case, vielen dank for your help ;-)
This Tullip Country is just too small to hide cars,
so I have seen it twice already, so this one was included.
That's a lovely car, great color for an Islero.

    Ciao!

That's #6198, the after market vents allows engine heat to escape.

    Thanks for the pictures!

Then you must be Julian from Miami, am I correct IsleroMan?

No, it was just a picture I had in my files to use as an example to show how a chassisnumberplate should look like.

Last thing I know that this green car was offered by Udo from Florida, shortly after he bought it in Florida.

Do you have another Islero instead?

    Best regards,
    Marcel

Picture recently taken? Where? Is this car for sale? Chassisnumber? Owners?

I think you discovered another "lost" Islero here..GREAT!

    Ciao!

    hi there...

that car is located in Portugal still with the original owner...as far as i know it was driven in the early days and then stopped very low miles i've been told...he has some cars in this condition...

for the moment it is not for sale and the owner wants to keep is privacy,so for respect i would not mention is name...

and yes...this is a lost islero..there's no reference to it in none of the registry's...

by the way...here's another Portuguese Islero(already sold...but the new owner may sell)

The car was recently for sale. It was put on Ebay, but I do not know if it sold. Car was in Arizona, not sure where it went to if it sold.

It was pampered very much next to an Espada III, Miura S, Ferrari 275 GTB/6C, 2 Ferrari DINO, Superamerica, 330 GTC, 250 TDF, 250 GT Lusso. The owner had as his daily driver an AUDI with 450,000 km on the clock!!!

    Ciao!

    Hi Diogo,

Thanks for the info. Do you know a chassisnumber for any of these two Islero's? Of course I respect the privacy for the owners, but it would be good for the Lamborghini history if we could tell that another car showed up somewhere in the world, and can be added to the "survivers".

    Best regards,
    Marcel

I understand that this was originally sold by Hubert Hahne in Germany?
Do you know what German plates it had before? Any pictures?

    Ciao!

Marcel, the car was not registered in Germany by its last owner in Munich. He used it on temporary plates.

    Ciao!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Looks like a nice car. Did you buy it?
Can't help you with videos, sorry. I'm just a photo man.

    Hi all,

Recently I have pictured another "lost" Islero here in Holland.
This is originally a french car, with yellow front lights. On the front window there is a "tax sur les automobiles 1976-1977" sticker. on the pictures the car might look red, but it's orange.
The french owner sold the car to Belgium long time ago, where it had been standing alongside a barn in the grass for years. It had a roof above it's head, but it was actually parked outside. Car is now in Holland.
Altough the body needs a lot of work, technically the car is in a reasonable condition, so I was told...

I had no info about this car, #6348, so I guess we found another lost Islero,
and another little piece of the big Islero puzzle.

    Bye bye,
    Marcello
