I'd like to ask - how many Super Ferrari owners drive their expensive cars on race track? Track day events, club racing or other kind of driving that requires taking the car close to its limits.
I mean how many of them are used the way they where designed/built and how many are beautiful looking money investments?

    Thank You
    Ted

Just based on people I know I would say many take them out on a track. As far as driving them at their limits going for the fastest possible lap time. Very few.

Why would an owner ever want to take a Super Ferrari out of their garage.

    The horror, the horror.

It belongs in a garage. Imagine how the poor little FXX feels being thrashed around and nailed. Why ruin something nice by driving it?

It would destroy it NOT to be driven.

All those high tech pipes, hoses and seals are designed to have hot fluids running through or around them. If they don't have that, then they soon die.

But if you didn't drive it and just looked at it, you would only have wax/ wash maintenance. Can you imagine what it would cost to actually run around a track. What a shame to be driven.

I don't have to do anything, apart from drive - the Ferrari technicians look after all the washing, waxing, fuel, oil, water, tyres, brakes, belts, telemetry, breakfast, lunch, dinner, flights, hotels, etc, etc.......

I track it on the Fiorano Ferrari events as often as European noise restrictions allow - at least twice per year.

No problem. I was going to use a smiley in the post, but people would have expected that. ;)
