OK we have all see those "As Seen on TV" things and might have even found themselves ordering up a pocket fisherman or a george forman grill...

Ever find something that just simply worked better than expected?

Here is an example (and please don't just post the sheit that you or your friends rep or make but just stuff you bought on a whim that really works) could be at the dollar store, discount store or even off TV

    NO Affiliations

I was in a Big Lots and saw this dog hair brush. it was on for $5.99 and I have 2 big dogs. Tried th thing and damn it is better than I could have hoped for. Actually gets the undercoat as well as the top coat. I have gone back and bought 4 more and given them to friends with dogs.

    Product -- Shed Ender
    Usage -- pet hair brush
Usefulness - - Far better than expected
Would you recommend it -- Yes

Oh yeah, Awesome is the best cleaning stuff out there. We like the stuff so much we use at least two bottles a month. It cleans everything. And the best part it's only a buck a bottle.

i know its stupid... i bought it because half the time i'm getting ready for bed, i practically fall asleep standing at the sink, so i figured i'd get a cheap powered toothbrush. well, i was amazed and still use it today (different brush, but same type). it really does give you that just-left-the-dentist-clean feeling.

That is the idea of the thread... sounds stupid or seems like there is no way this would work... then you find yourself using it all the time

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. I was skeptical when I shelled the money out for the first one. But they really do work great on cleaning stuff off of walls (you do need to be careful to not remove the paint though), tile floors etc. An absolute must have for parents of todlers who just discovered crayons. :(

As far as tooth brushes I've gone with the Orab-b vitality, I had a few crest SBP and the battery was always the problem. the vitality is a rechargeable one for $15.

For the seen on tv: Ronco Six Star+ Cutlery, it looks like they changed the set since I bought mine, they took out the cleaver my favorite one.
None the less a great set of knives for the money.

When I first got the set my friend and I set out to see how good they were, we started out with paper, moved to some books, boxes anything we could find, and finally I cut one one of those metal golf ball buckets that was fun. They still work great.

    Sonicare toothbrush

I've tried cheaper electric toothbrushes in the past, and found all of the ones I tried to be crap. Sonicare is fantastic! It feels as if my teeth were just polished by a dentist every time I use it. The 1st time I went to the dentist after having used it for several months, the dentist told me that my teeth looked a lot better under the gums than ever before.

My sister just got a high end tooth brush and I noticed that the head moved allot more than mine does, but spending around 100 for a toothbrush, I'm not so sure I can do that.

How much would you spend on dental bills?

I switched to Sonicare last year and love the results.

Before this product got knocked off in China (The one you bought), I bought the original one called The Furminator. The one you posted has the exact same comb head and I have seen it in WalMart for about $17 (I paid $42).

Yes, this product and design is AWESOME! I use it about three times a week on my Ausi Heeler and usually get a small lunchbag full of hair that a standard comb or brush simply can not get to.

For those that have not seen one or tried one, at the base of the comb is a VERY sharp razor type blade. This design gets all of the shedding hair off the dog. I'm pissed that I did nt think of this one!
