hi, I find that my 348 feels slightly sluggish momentarily when driving at very low revs ie. 2000-2500 in 2nd gear. Almost like the a/c compressor engaging. THough while accelerating the performance is perfect. Also, I find that off late the check engine light 1-4 is on. From past f chat threads i see that it could be an o2 sensor issue. My car runs with Tubis and cat bypass pipes. Any suggestions/advise.

The car I'm about to purchase has a CEL problem and the code suggests a bad 02 sensor. So, I've been looking for an online source of the OS582 sensor widely recommended on this board and I finally found a place that sells it for $99 each.

    http://www.partsamerica.com/productdetail.aspx?MfrCode=BOR&MfrPartNumber=OS582&PartType=291&PTSet=A

If you go the replacement route, this might be helpful.

Is there another online source for these parts that is cheaper? I found the universal Bosch part for $55 each but that requires splicing and it seems like the $44 difference would be worth a plug and play solution.

    Hope this helps,

    -Eric

Also check to see if your throttle bodies are synchronized.

My suggestion is to pull your error codes for that CEL.

Might not have the right thread pitch. Try these instead (and I in no way endorse these eBay sellers):

Before you buy the O2 sensor, clean the connectors of the O2 sensor and the Phase Sensor on the 1/4 bank side.
