I'm just interested in knowing who the Ferrari supercar owners are, which F supercars they own, and how they've become successful enough to be Ferrari supercar owners. I'm very interested in hearing your responses.

It shouldn't matter to anyone what people do and why they have the cars.

Not to sound too harsh, but do a search. This has been asked a million billion times. And...

    1) What people do is their business. Most people in a position to afford these cars probably doesn't want to give up all the details of their personal lives on the Internet to someone who is acting stalker-ish by wanting to know all sorts of details about their lives

    2) What difference does it make? You can make money in sewage, or clothes designing or win the lucky sperm competition. Just because someone else made it, doesn't mean you (or others) can.

I made a similar mistake coming into F-chat and learned many things, two important lessons:

    1. Don't look into how people got to where they are, just enjoy what they have like you would if you saw a f-car on the road and enjoy what f-chat has to offer

    2. Use the search feature (its near the top of the page in the blue bar)

Start a business. It's easier to stick with it if it's something you actually like doing.

I have more to say on the subject, but it's that hard and that simple.

I owned an F-50, with a partner. (I will post a picture of me and the F-50 later) It was sliver with black and grey interior--we kept it in Europe because my partner lived there and I was there on business about once a month. We paid the US equivalent of about $500K at the time (the US dollar was strong) After 3 years and about 16,000 km, we sold it for the equivalent of about $600K US (the dollar got weaker). I drove it often and I drove it hard, and it was a very forgiving and wonderful car.

I am in the commercial real estate business, but had to sell this car (and a 355 spyder and 360 CS) when I lost my ass in on a deal. (In the picture I will post, you will see a Rolex Yachtmaster--which I also sold). After 4 years of picking myself back up, I have a 550 Barchetta now.

In relation to your F50 pics, start a thread if you can and post some of them up. Silver F50's are cool! You don't see too many pictures of them..

I don't think that's his point at all. There have only been a handful of F50s which were ever painted silver. Photos of them are fairly rare and it would be a shame if new ones were lost in a thread that didn't specifically identify the content.

How sad. I know this question has been asked many times, but it is rude to put down someone who is just trying to milk honest replies from what appears to be owners of a magical sports-car empire:

    sad

    just sad

me: I milk mice for fun
