Now who's this Jacob guy?? Don't tell me they took out Locke?? Are they going to be bringing people back from the dead?? Do we need more twists?? Others, Hostiles, Darma people. Who else is on the island besides the black smoke?? I enjoy the show but can somebody tell me what the hell is going on?? ARGHHH!!
I dunno as I have only seen 2-3 episodes... but I was surprised to see they just renewed it until 2010- I thought for sure it had already jumped the shark in it's second season.
I saw a screen cap of jacob on a lost blog and you could actually see him in the chair. Didn't recognize him though.
I'm with ya! I don't think I've missed an episode (I TiVo it), yet I've clearly missed something! I have to wonder if even the writers know what's going on anymore. I think I'll have to go back to watching The Simpsons.
Interesting that you brought this up, because I'm getting sick of the story getting more and more complicated. I used to watch it like a addicted slave, but now I have 12 episodes on my harddrive that I no longer bother to watch - because I read about the continuation to 2010 and just gave it up. All that matters now is Heroes and Prison Break. Good TV-shows, the season ending of Prison Break was the ultimate cliff hanger. At least that's what's hot here in northern Europe at the moment.
I had bought on E-bay the first and second season to catch up. It was great how they did everybodys stories, so i enjoyed it. But it's getting to a point when i'm like "oh man, now what?" And i hope they don't start leaning towards the supernatural. And i also heard about it going til 2010, i think 16 episodes per season. That's going to be a loooong time of "what's going on" LOL
I've always loved the show simply because the audience never knows what's going on. If I knew everything, I wouldn't watch anymore. Still the best show on television in my opinion.
Ive never been more pissed off after watching that show every week. I guess thats good tv. 24 is better.

I used to "love" and now just "like" the show...really fear they are pulling a Twin Peaks, i.e. getting weird just for the sake of getting weird. Hate to say it, but I am really seeing Fonzi getting ready to jump those sharks. 2010? Wow.
I think that we can all agree that Lost has gotten a bit redundant, especially with all of the different 'stations' around the island. It's starting to become more and more like Gilligan's Island. Which one is Gilligan though? We all know who the Professor is.
That was pretty good. I must've missed something, but please explain the scene where Jack has a secret meeting with Kate and says he takes flights hoping to crash again and that they have to "go back". He has the beard and the band-aid and he refers to his living father which indicates a flashback (but then how does he know Kate) ...but the comment about going back hoping to crash again indicates a "flash forward". Anyone explain?

I have no intention of knowing what happens next season. btw, one of the guys on bimmerforums had spoilers for all the episodes too I recognised that too. Possibly the island brought his father back to life? I also didn't recognise the kid who helped Lock as Walt. Are we sure its Walt? It was a flash-forward, basically. The part where he said to go get his dad was pretty odd, but I think he said that because he was starting to crazy and taking meds. I think the chief guy that Jack didn't know too well was the guy that took over his dead dad's spot. When Jack kept telling the guy to go speak to his dad, he never gave a response because it's kind of pointless. The guy's dead, why even have to tell Jack again.
