The rudeness started when he came in to ask what people do. It's none of his business.
It really bothers me when people come up to me and ask "What do you do?". Very common at the petrol station.

I am pretty new to this site, and still finding my way around. The attached is the pic I have at the office of the F-50 and me. (I have more at home and will post later.)

Once you own a car like this, you just can't get over it--kinda like that one girl in college--so you keep your pictures close.

I do not have a picture of the 360 CS at the office, and I don't know why. The 355 is posted in a ppt., because I can't get it to upload to the site on MS Word

I meant to add the significance of these pictures. Both pictures were taken at the time I bought the cars. With the F-50, the dealer delivered the car to the portico of his dealership and told me to "smile" while he snapped the picture. With the 355, this is taken in the driveway of my consultant who picked up the car at Shelton in Ft. Lauderdale (John Levy was the salesman, if you want to check.)

I don't mind people asking and I don't mind talking about these cars--for years I dreamed of having one and I know I did not want people being rude to me when I--enthusiastically--asked about them. People who own Ferraris should drive them a lot and be nice to people who admire them.

And, it is true, girls love these cars.

I'm kind of new here, and the first time I saw one of these threads, I thought you all were playing about how often this question was asked, and were being a little too harsh on the guy who asked, but now I see you weren't playing/were justified.

A strange question to ask... and answer.

If I was at the supermarket and some guy noticed my Solid Gold Rolex Daytona watch on my wrist, and said "wow, nice watch, what do you do for a living"? I would respond "Work Hard", then quickly turn and walk away.

    (BTW I don't own a Gold Rolex)

Why waste time in posting a non-response? Yeah, this question gets asked all the time. That will never change.

It's not like anyone's being harassed in person by someone begging for some money. You can simply opt to not respond and in doing so, be completely invisible.

My advice is to work hard at something you love to do- something you'd do even if you didn't get paid to do it. And be your own boss. All employers make money on the backs of their employees. They work for your dreams.

i still sell coke, the schools are getting a bit tougher so were marketing to the upscare office workers. besides pepsi was getting to ecpensive

and if you work hard you'll never own a super car, work smart and you'll have alot of them, and it aint in the school books. i hire college grads everytime i can, i have phd's masters, batchlors aa, degress working for me i make the most money off them, they are well trained in school to be worker bees and i just straigh pimp them out, i let them think they have a future and they do, but it aint a super car future, my 2 top guys make 300, 240K/yr and neither of them went to college and they are the hustlers that work the college grads to death, and me and my partner grab all the $$$, we 750-800 on staff right now. my partner went to jail when he was 18 for computer hacking-8 months i went to school for 3 years and spent that time plus another 8 or9 in the pool room with all the pimps, cons, hustlers, gamblers, theifs, etc live and i lived that life for years-that was my real education, and picked up on their moves, its all about street smarts in my world, now all do is talk to my harvard summa cum laude lawyers etc and run the same business for 11 years. i work the workers, not to say i dont have responsibility or put in long days i do and have to miss certain things once in a while, but i dont get 2 weeks off a year, my time is my own, when i started the gig i never took a day off and didnt care- i saw the end game in the beggining, if you cant see that dont play, you'll lose. i was born into a poor family and hated it so i fixed it, now i just cant stop i love the action, but you have to see the end before you start or your just going nowhere, enough of this you get it, if you dont just enjoy other peoples cars, and i share mine as much as i can, some people arnt as lucky as i am, or determined.

Maybe its just me, but when someone asks me what I do for a living, I tell them...I view it as an opportunity to land a new client. That's just me, I am always on the hustle/grind.

I actually wanted to sit on the front of the car and the dealer said to me: "the point of this picture is the car and not the owner, isn't it?" So, I took a baseball catcher's squat beside it.

The smile was permanent--I mean, it is a Ferrari.
