how big's your mp3 collection?

I have around 10,000, all of my preference.

 

Pretty small only about 700

 

minds around 1000. 17.69 GB of music!

My songs are wayyyyy long.

 

What percentage are actually paid for ? (legal)

I've been thinking about getting an iPod Nano 4 gig, current gen, are these worth a damn ?

 

My 30 gb iPod is almost full, so something like that, plus some music videos.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I'm proud to say all my music is 100% legit, I'm not sure how many people can say that.
Mp3 players are definetely worth it, just remember when you buy an iPod you are paying a premium for the name. You can get a 20gb mp3 player for the same price as a smaller iPod.

 

I have one and I must say its worth every penny. I got the silver coloured one and its pretty tough. I dropped it a few times and not a scratch. I don't have a huge library so it all fits in it and its really tiny so you can take it wherever you are. You do pay a premium over other MP3 players, but frankly, I have yet to come across something as easy to navigate. I am thinking of getting a larger iPod just for my car too.

Good lord...a LOT. Gotta be at least 80gb+, lots of tracks I've never even listened to. I'd say half is legal, maybe less. I bought a 30gb iPod in March and it's full.

Well most of the full albums I have on my computer I own and put them on my computer myself, so maybe 20% is actually bought.

 

I have a 30g iPod and it's about 80% full... I have around 4800 songs and they are about 30% from my CD's, 30% bought off iTunes, and 40% "stolen" from friends or Limewire type sites back in the day. These days any new music I get is always from iTunes.

I was thinking a refurb current gen iPod Nano 4gb, from Apple they are $149, free shipping, but the kicker is a 1 yr warranty.. 2gb is $109, if anyone is interested.
Main reason for the iPod is simply because of all the accessories you can get for it.

well, my close friend wanted to buy an MP3 player 2 weeks ago, and he was very reluctant to get and iPod. however, i managed to persuade him to get one, and now, he has no regrets

i'm goin to get one in July, i think. 80 gig, U2 edition.

 

Some guy has 200k iTunes songs.

 

The U2 one sucks. All it does is rattle and hum!

 

Only 22gb - and i dont like much of it, so i keep about 6 on my ipod..

I've lost track..but somewhere in the vacinity of 60,000 songs or about 260GB.

 

And you have all this songs in your computer or in a external hard drive.???

 

I'd almost be willing to guess that I have the fewest. Looks like a total of 6 on all my drives, and none of them are really "songs".
