For some people, killing even one deer is one too many. Perhaps the cars big_Red saw in the rain are only doing this occasionally, not every time it rains....:) .....maybe a service appointment....or perhaps a first date where a first impression is the objective....:)

Best statement in this entire exchange so far: "To each his own....".

The word moron is used very loosely by some people around here...

In the next Liberal election?.....did you mean Federal election?.....anyway....even I won't be voting for the Liberals after 30 years of doing so .....with that wimp they got for a leader.....I'd be ashamed to put him in power...

How about: "because he wanted to". Maybe he wanted to show it off to his competitor's "secretary", or High School buddy flying in for the day. Or maybe he had to have service done that day, and the mechanic and part were only in the same time-zone that one day. Sure it'll cost him in detailling and depreciation overhead, and add mechanical risk with water in the engine bay.

Or maybe his Bentley was in the shop, the wife had the AMG, the daughter had the Honda, the Maserati wouldn't start and the competitor's "secretary" was lonely? Lots of reasons.

Not like he was letting a B-grade actor drive it :)

As I posted before, I agree with your argument...possibly because I love to drive a spotless car/truck/bike all the time, and get p*ssed off any time it gets dirty. (I'd be more p*ssed if it was a Ferrari SA !!)

    ...No scrapping posts today..:D:D

They don't own the Ferrari Owner's manual where it says (on p. 57): "Warranty void if driven in the rain; dry clean only"....:)

Ask anyone who owned a Ferrari, Fiat or Alfa Romeo 20 years ago, driving in rain/snow was not a good idea at all!

Unless you sprayed the entire car with WD-40 when you got home...:D

So Harper wont drop the gas tax like he promised he would during his campaign... Thats around 30 cents a liter I believe, that is a huge cash cow for the government.

I realize a serious flaw in what I said. Some of the money from the Federal Gas Tax goes to municipalities to build infrastructure. Still, 30 cents a liter is alot.

30 cents a litre.......25 cents of that goes to management and administration fees, the 5 cents left goes for the actual construction and development!
