    I'm thinking about a road trip down to Austin this coming weekend & doing some MTB trail riding, my company is giving me next Monday off so I'll a three day weekend. If anyone wants to get together let me know.

    I'll be in New Braunfels for some tubing, but if it gets rained out I'll probably end up in Austin.

    It really must be tough for you.


    As for the weather, I can't stand riding in the rain but haven't been in Austin since 2001. I'm not sure if I can make the Austin breakfast meet unless I leave at Ft Worth @ 4am. Depends on what time I get off work late in the evening.

    The good trails will be mudy. Which trails do you plan to hit? The Barton Creek greenbelt it's lot's of fun, especially when wet. :)

    I thought about going to Bluff Creek Ranch in Warda, it's a great place to ride if you ever been there but the trail will be closed if there has been a lot of rainfall. If that will be the case I'll just try to come down there & hang out & explore the city. Where is the breakfast meet & can you provide some details for me please?

    I do have Monday off (just found out today). So if you bring your bike down, we can always hit the trails sometime this weekend.

    Let me know if you need a place to stay and I'll get a key made.

    My band is playing on Saturday night... Trophy's. Short 30 min spot. It's the "Freebird F...U" gig. Yes, we all get to perform our own version of Freebird. And I do mean "own version". Oh yes.. it will be funny.

    I just got off work so I'm a little spent, I'll try to do laundry in the morning & go drop off JP's toys at the RUF Auto Centre before going into work. MTB riding all depends on the weather but I could be up for some free riding on the streets of Austin. Any news on the breakfast meet? I need an address in order to find it or do I just drive around town listening for pack of Tubi exhaust notes echoing from the Hill Country?

    I might have to put the trip on hold due to this weather & other personal matters, also my wipers went out on the way home from work tonight so I got to check the relay in the morning to see if that is the issue. I'll keep you posted.
