It all started last Tuesday when I left my office. I stopped for the light on 39th. street and 3rd. ave. in Brooklyn and Ferrari Joe pulls up next to me and asks how the car is running. That's how it started. I drove across the Verrazanno bridge and a TBTA cop pulls ahead of me and then gets behind me and pulls me over. He tells me he is going to give me two tickets, one for no front plate and one for a clear cover on the rear plate. It took him 40 minutes to write the two tickets after which I wished him a nice day.
I attempt to start my car and the battery is dead. I had to get pushed off the bridge. After another hour and fifteen minutes road-side assistance arrives. Ferrari of C NJ gets the car Wednesday morning but is "too busy" to look at it until yesterday afternoon. I have a bad battery, but it took a week to look at it. The "joy" or ownership!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's true definition of a "hater." Some people see you in a nice car, smiling, enjoying life, and it just makes them mad. Woe to you if that person happens to be an officer of the law.

Battery went bad after 15 months and 15,000 miles. The dealer said I was lucky. If I only had 2,000 miles they wouldn't honor the warantee! Lucky me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear, but glad that it was covered under warranty. I go through batteries often - every time I let either car sit for more than 2 months without a trickle charge :(

The DB9 is my wife's and it always runs. The tow truck driver put his gym bag between his truck and my bumper(no damage). By the way, they were very nice!!!

I found this topic that clearly describes my week...I bought a car that I always wanted to...2 days after it dies on me and I found out it was the timing belt. I had to tow my car to two different locations because the first one wouldn't work in it during the weekend and fixing a timing belt in a MR2 is a serious thing...there isn't much space to work because it is a mid engine car...so I would have to wait at least one or two days...now the second location seems to be a horrible one. Today I passed by the shop to see what was going on and the mechanic was there surround be strangers almost getting inside my car...even though it is not a Ferrari or Lamborghini it sucks to see people touching or trying to get in your toy. Just wanted to share this.

It is really important to know the place you are taking your car to be fixed...and be sure your car is protected.
