I think the competition will be to high up front and they will all take each other out and Speed or worst Sato will take 1st. lol
Ha! I hate the guy more then all of you. i have to see his troll face all over the car shops. It is funny though. There is more commercials of him as a bike racer then of F1.
Yeah i've seen some of those commercials, what's up with that? I mean I know it's partly because he drives for a backmarker team, but what's the bike connection?
Sato was originally a bike racer before he started racing. He did race in Formula Dream and stuff but all through school he was a cyclist. This is more popular in Japan then F1.
pffftt... at least Sato achieved something in F1. compared him to Alex Yoong...my so called country hero. he was a disaster. the moment he got that Minardi seat, he was in almost every commercial there was on TV. from energy drinks to hair creams. damn...and the best part, he was like a real chicken in his season with Minardi.
yeah but I bet you Yoong could at least drive and got the opportunity because of it. Sato is there cause he is the heir to Panasonic. If you can't dive, buy. Ralph Firman was the same way. He is back here in JGTC now but i still think he was a better driver then Sato. Firman had his father who knew people.
no man. the reason yoong was even there to drive was because, Minardi was desperate for a sponsor at that time, and the Malaysian Govt. was also desperate to get a local driver in the series and boost F1 fanship here. it seemed like a win-win situation for both parties, only the fact that, AY became a laughing joke here. i think it was a whole mistake to put in someone who can barely qualify...
