Well?
I've only had a ride in the 360 and it was amazing, but I just LOVE the shapes of the 355. Its beautiful. 355 for me.
To clarify are they being given to me for free or do I have to aquire one in the open market paying true value and maintain it with true costs? If free and someone else maintains it then give me the 360. If I have to pay and maintain I think the 355 is the better value at the moment. Either one is better than (insert almost ny other car here).
I don't know about that, my 355 cost more than my 360 did to maintain. The 355's had plenty of issues, Valve Guides on early cars, cats, headers, and interior trim that melted in the sun. The 360 seems like a more modern and refined car, it lacks the 355's go cart feel and sound though.
Had both. 360 is a much better car in every way. Looks are subjective. It took me awhile to warm up to the 360s looks, then I sold my 355 F1 GTS and bot a 360 F1 Spider. Never have regretted it. 360: More comfortable. Turns better. Faster. And more torque. Much more. Love the window over the engine. More reliable. Both have Tubis. Both Red/Black.
Not a close call to me. The 360 is better in every way...lighter, stronger, faster, better looking, and much more reliable to boot. Gary
I'd choose a car for looks over some performance advantage and for that the 355 is the winner hands down! My 2nd Ferrari will definitely be the 355. If money weren't an issue, it would be the F40! Besides, there are too many 360s out there, many of them owned by celebrities and rich people who don't even appreciate the car. It's more of a status symbol for them.

355 with 360 technology and maintance LOVE the looks and sound of the 355... I've been around here for 2-4 weeks and I'm already seeing these 355 vs 360 threads everywhere lol
Have to say, we sold our 360 to get a 355... The natural noise that comes out of the 355 for one is reason enough to buy one. Yeah ill give the 360 a point as I like its engine cover.... but still all the factors of the 355 combined beats the 360 I guess its all down to personal choice, you will never get a definitive answer.... what one person thinks is a stunning car.. another person may think looks like sh_te...
Had 'em both....hands down: IT'S A POINTLESS QUESTION!!!!!! Each have so many qualities to love. In many ways they are similar and in equally many ways they are unique.... As refinement goes, the newer 360 of course has an advantage. The one-touch button top that rids you of the nuisance of putting on & off the boot, the windows that roll all the way down so that 1/4" of exposed glass doesn't ride your wrist veins, the A/C that blows icicles quietly in your face, the rear roll-bar and front-integrated windshield rollbar that protect you....they took everything the 355 had and dramatically improved it. BBBBut ya know what....the 360 doesn't feel like a one-of-a-kind hand-made automobile....it feels like Ferrari met GM-assembly line. With the 355 you get the smell of the Connelly leather, the way each piece fits together...it's a work of unique art. The smaller size feels like an old-world car where driver & car blend together as one. The 355 has that classic Ferrari lines...but it also has a simple slanting front end that catches on every driveway. We can (and ironically we will) go on and on about the differences between these 2 great cars. It's just not fair to compare them, it's pointless...and yet we're compelled to.
I chose the 360 here because of the obvious advantages (performance and realiability). But I must say I prefer the 355 when it comes to looks and sound. It's just so amazingly pretty car (especially the GTB and the GTS please my eye). I would definitely want to have them both and drive 'em back to back before making the ultimate decision.
Looks is half the reason for having a Ferrari. To me, the 360 looks more modern. The 355 looks good but dated now. The best looking Ferrari of its time is still the 308. And doesn't anyone think the 355 looks like a Toyota MR2? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
