Hello everyone, On my search, i ran into this dealership in Austin, TX. They have a few ferraris in less than desirable shape. I've called with no success. My guess is that they purchase repo ferraris. here are some images i took: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
From the pictures you've taken they look to have seen better days indeed. Thanks for posting these pictures. If you're in the neighbourhood again, could you get the VIN of those cars? Especially the cab conversions? Thank you Jurgen
That looks like a 77, and not a glass car. That car looks like it needs a good cleaning. The interior didn't look that bad. Now if it's been sitting for a long time it will probably need the usual. If the car was running when it was parked of course.
Is that the same convertible 308 Martin had for sale a couple of years ago? You just don't come across that many of those.
No that's a later injected conversion car I believe....interesting for sure. Why you'd do that instead of a GTS I have no idea........ I have people in Austin what's the name of the shop? That's a steel 308GTB, as the rear indent around the plate indicates......could be a find if a 1976 or 1977........ Get the VIN....
I'd follow up on the red 308GTB.....good find! Moorespeed could check it top to bottom but I'll say the interior and exterior DO appear to be in fine shape...... Get to work on it!
I'm going to try to make it down there this weekend fo a little R&R. I'd like to know the story on these cars as well, that GTB needs to good home.
Probably the stupidest looking convertible top I've ever seen. Really makes some kit cars look pretty good.
Lady Valeria was relieved Pippo finally stepped up to the plate...... Maybe this one is for you, brudda! Go find this place.......
Could be the car we sold. We sold it to a dealer in Texas. No idea what they did with it. Although it always looked funky with the top, the car was sweet as an open top. Nice cruiser. Would also like to know where in Austin that is. I'd buy the convertible back.
You talking about the 400? or the 308? I think the 400 is #51697 originally from PA but seen in FL in 2004? 2005?
No, Martin came over and found a 308 convertible down in Dickinson or Pearland....somewhere south of town.........
+1 The GTB looks like it could be a diamond in the rough. A nice '77 steel could be lurking under that oxidized paint!! Pippo!! Yoo HOO!! Birdman
PIPPO HAS A SECRET............PIPPO HAS A SECRET!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLL! And Lady Valeria said "Thank You" for avoiding another 308GTB parked on her property, out by the Railroad Tracks........ROTFLMAO!
That GTB would be a great Resto project! I'd fix that front air dam by replacing it with the Euro front spoiler. Not too worried about the engine. I'd tear it down anyways and rebuild it.... maybe get some pistons from Mr. Norwood
Man, that's just a minor chip..........whatever. Sounds like they are in LaLa Land on pricing.........the economic downturn has not reached Austin....
