This is the 2nd. Annual LA Concours at the Rose Bowl. Last years inaugural was a success and it will be better this year. It is a lovely way to spend a day, meandering through the rolling hills of the car displays. There will be over thirty judged categories, exhibits, food and a VIP tent. You can get tickets at the entrance or go to the web site and pre-order at a discount (if it is not too late). All money goes to the benefit of Assistance League. If possible, consider the VIP tickets to better help the charity. www.LAConcours.com We are working on having corral parking for exotics, will let you know.
Sounds like a nice event, and for a good cause. If there's a safe place to park, count me in. Don't want to be part of the concours, don't think the car is at that level.
i will call Pat Spears at the A. League and make arrangements. Lets see how many spots we need though. So, if you plan on going, please put your name down.
Is this to display the car, or just regular secured parking? I'd like to go since the car will be nearby.
I just got my participants package a few days ago. Got to be there by 9AM if displaying your car. 1. Dustin 2. Heather 3. Jon (Modenafan) 4. TopElement 5. FastRed355 6. Impactco
Do you need VIP tickets to park in the corral? I'm definitely coming to this event. Have a great Memorial Day! Brad
The VIP tickets are for tent access and lunch, basically an upgraded ticket. There is no corral parking yet. The sponsors are considering if it can be set up.
Steve, see if we can arrange something. I will also call Pat on Monday. Parking would be a huge plus and everyone would truly appreciate it. D
We're waiting to see if they are going to set up a Ferrari corral so that we can have safe parking, otherwise I'm going to have to pass on this one. Hopefully we'll know soon?
Still checking on the corral parking feasability. Regardless, you could always take your other car. This is a nice event to attend, no matter how you arrive. Last year there were some amazing classic Ferraris( Peterson and Bruce Myer collection), Bugattis, and an entire area of racing cars. Think of it as a mini Pebble Beach concours.
I'll attend regardless of the parking, the event was great last year - but I'll only drive my 430 if there is some secured parking.
