That is the parking lot where what used to be called the Famous Players Collasium movie theatre was. It is just before the Shawnassy Shopping Centre going south on Macleod. Deep deep south. It looks to be fairly early morning, thats how I would explain a completely empy parking lot.
Black 550 Maranello in a dealership next-door to Shaw GMC. I have no idea what the name was, but it was a nice sight. Black Carrera GT on Crowchild NB!!! Best car ever, in my opinion.
Interesting. There is a used car dealership by Shaw who have a red 550 Maranello for sale. Car Country is the name. Spots: Silver Vanquish last night in the beltline, red 360 spider, top up on 17th, tons of classic/muscle cars looking sweeet.
I was near ZR autos thie afternoon and saw the S7 followed by a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo, I didn't have time to get my camera from my car.
You know, I'm not a huge Porsche fan. I think generally speaking they all look the same. Legions of 911s, Boxsters, Caymans - virtually indistinguishable at least from a distance. That said, I have to admit that the black on tobacco CGT running around in the city is absolutely beautiful. The lines are so clean in black, and that interior is very warm looking and appealing. I think that owner is very lucky, because that car is one of the nicest in the city, and there are a lot of nice vehicles in town. And now there are 2 of them, exactly the same.
It might have been red, actually. My neck is in pain on my right side (I pulled something), so it was pretty tricky to get a good view of it, and my memory seems to be awful today. That said, why did the owner sell it to Car Country? Why not to Kulu or ZR? @brim: You're in the Ferrari camp, are you not? I'm still a Porsche boy. Always have been, always will be.
Im a fan of the CGT, but I have to agree with you that all Porsche's tend to look similar, too similar.
Dark silver 599 GTB and orange Gallardo Spyder on Macleod just in front of Chinook Mall. And a silver DB9 on Highway 2. That 599 was the first one I have seen except for at the Wynn dealership in Vegas and it looks pretty awesome on the streets, which I guess most people have realized by now. Awesome sound too, the sound was actually what made me turn around to see what was coming. Ahh, Ferrari V12
I saw that orange Gallardo Spyder also. At the same time I also saw a red Ferrari 360, it looked like a CS but didn't have the flag decal down the middle.
