sounding better and better, the man who is hammering out the body does some amazing work
I just read the entire 6 pages. I love the concept of this making it based of the 250 GTO. If Jim/Napolis did this with the P4/5, as in selling only 5, or limited quantity, I think that has some serious potential for the future. Keep up the good work.
Michiel, are there still plans to possibly offer a Carbon Fiber body as well? i remember you saying that was a possibility a long time ago. still possible? i hope a couple of the possible owners at least give it some thought.
Can you estimate a possible date for introduction? Where or what event are you planning on introducing it?
Your first post here on Fchat! Welcome! Please fill out your profile a bit more so we all know who we're talking to. Development is proceeding according to plan Event for introduction not certain yet.
Wow.. check out the joining date! 4yrs lurker Welcome indeed. Also interested - can we expect any photos (perhaps of fabrication?) anytime soon? When does the 599 arrive?
First off congratulations on a fabulous design Michiel! Will there be or have you considered a scale model offered on this car? I'm interested to see it in a high-end 1/43 model. Have you been approached by model companies such as BBR and MR?
We have been approached by several modelmakers, but I think it's a bit too soon for that. Let's build the real car first.
Michiel, I can only repeat, this is a real masterpiece, a piece of art... And the handcraft workshop where the car will be builded is a little piece of heaven, the re-maded aluminium parts are awesome. Do you think you'll release the license to any company to build a 1:18 scale model? I should buy it immediately.... Congrats anymore. Here is another italian article on it. http://www.autoblog.it/post/8573/vandenbrink-599-gto-una-ferrari-molto-speciale
An article from UK Autotrader is available here: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIAL/car_page_content/34360.html They like it too Michiel, it's great to see the car getting such wonderful press. I hope that the project is progressing smoothly and wish you and everyone else involved all the best!
Cool, Michiel! Can't wait for the time you will attend a next Deil meeting with one If so, do you have a passengerseat left??? (BIG ) Bob
Passion, love, and dream was this story all about, nothing more needed to be said about the design itself. Congratulations Michiel! One thing that I noticed was that the wheels were changed into the Enzo style in some of the pics in the download section of your website, and ************* or so used these pics instead of the one which was equiped by the 575 style wheels. Any certain ideas of which wheels will you eventually go for? Personally I thought the 575 style fits the car perfectly! Thanks! And I'm sorry if this had been answered before.
In the automotive section of the newspaper of my city Monterrey there was an article about it...will try to find it.
