Takin the bus to school this mourning on 17th and I see a Grey F430 and Black SL65. Both parked.

sorry for the off topic but does anyone have any info on the Fathers Day Auto show this year? is there going to be one? I know there wasn't one last year. If not, anywhere else to show my pops some nice wheels? I already took my pops to kulus so we need something new

If You can wait till September the 2007 Player's Run is starting in Calgary!
Cars like the McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron, CLK DTM, Porsche 959, etc already registered. I just don't know the exact location in Calgary yet. If anyone does that would be helpful.

This will be amazing, I can't believe that I may actaully see a Veyron in flesh this year.

 

im not actually sure,but where can alot of nice cars and people gather to admire them be? It needs to be somewhere with alot of room. Im guessing Mcmahon Stadium. I could be wrong tho.

On the Players Run site, they mention 5-Star accomodations and 5-6 hour driving times. Perhaps they will head to Vancouver via Kelowna before heading south to Cabo...

 

that list of cars is insane. there's about 4 Enzos

 

It would be crazy to see cars like that i wish some can make a stop bye Vancouver, but oh well its in September ill just wait and see what happens

This post mirrors some the frustrations I am also having. It seems that the only car shows I find out about are the ones that have already happened i.e. I’m always a day late and a buck short. Anyone have a link to a thorough website detailing all the car shows in Calgary this season? Or better yet; all of southern Alberta?

If not maybe a thread should be started where we can post events, times, and locations ahead of time. Only guidelines to the thread would be a) make sure it’s reliable information (I don’t want to drive to Okotoks (sp) at 6:30 on a Sunday morning to find out it was bad intel), b) all types of events are welcome (exotics, muscle, classic, bikes, etc.), and c) if you attend the show you have to post pics.

Thoughts? I have no problem with starting the thread and keeping it alive if that’s what it takes.
