    LITTLE HELP, PLEASE all bushings old. where is source. heater motor does not work, same as air, are there two(front and rear) is this a big dash removal project. wipers slow. motor? also starting on 51203, yes i have two! both with top gone

    My guess is you would get more response if you fill in your profile(member since 2005?)
    Any info. you care to share with us about your 2 400i cabs(miles/color/condition/value/etc.)?

    Some 400's were equipped with front and rear AC. The only common component is the compressor. The rear evaporator is under the rear panel and easily accessible from the trunk. If the rear fan and evaporator are working you will find it is quite comfortable with the rear running and the front system off. I traveled like this on a day with the temperature in the high 80's. It is nice with no cold breeze in your face.

    It sounds like you may have multiple electrical issues since so may things are working poorly or not at all.

    I spent several weeks diagnosing various electrical issues. Be patient and you can resolve most of them.

    i am so happy. being an old man i was worried that i would not last long enough to hear answers. i do not have cars yet. both cars are at evans auto in columbus ohio, for a careful checkup. better to do preventive work first. evans did nice work on my maserati cars. i look forward to all your very interesting post. thanks for support, i will need all i can get
