    Im not sure if anyone has had this problem before but i just opened up my Microsoft Outlook Express and all of my contacts are gone... and half of the emails in my inbox...

    Im freaking out!!!

    Try installing Mozilla Thunderbird and see if it imports all your lost stuff from OE. This exact thing happened to my brother, I had him try it, and it rescued all his OE stuff. He just stayed with Thunderbird...no problems since.

    ??? just stop using it.

    Download Mozilla Thunderbird and use it.

    And: we've been through this before: everyone needs to export their Address Book to a floppy, CD, different folder, somewhere to have a backup copy. And if you choose a floppy, use two/make two copies, one may go bad (personal experiences).

    Outlook Express makes small babies **** themselves.

    However, Outlook kicks ass. Other than the .pst problems...

    But regularly backing up fixes that.

    However, I must mention the greatness of Gmail / Gmail Hosted Domains.

    I use gmail its more easy and you can open from any pc
