I finished installing Birdmans fuse blocks, They were very easy to do. I don't think it took me a half hour. Anyone who has doubts about doing it should not. Follow the instructions and number them and you won't have any problems. I took pictures before I removed the wires just in case I messed something up! Thanks Birdman for a great upgrade.

Birdman must have sold a thousand of those fuse blocks and saved hundreds of cars from serious electrical problems.
Great invention at a reasonable price.
(now I just need to get a couple of his mat-grabbers)

Someone hooked up an amp for the radio to the headlite motor circuit and fried the block. I removed the amp. I would rather listen to the Webers!!!!

Birdman’s web site (http://www.birdmanferrari.com/) says “These blocks DO NOT work on the Mondial, 328 or 246 Dino. They used entirely different fuseboxes that are incompatible with these.”

Jonathan didn't invent the fuse block replacement, but he *DID* bring it to the masses for those of us who didn't want to make our own, and for that we're all grateful!

Got to give credit where credit is due:

Sorry, wrong choice of words. (maybe I should have said great product)
I actually built mine from the link that you posted, about 18mos ago. (I think I assumed it was Birdman's creation)

Just installed the "Birdman fuse blocks" into my 1983 euro GTS QV

What a difference it has made and very easy to install: disconnected the battery on the ground connecter under the bonnet; Then marked the connectors with a marker pen; Then transfered the upper connectors to the top side of the birdman blocks; unscrewed the old fuse blocks and let them hang on the lower connectors; screwed in the Birdman blocks and then transfered the lower connectors. The correct fuses were a bit hard to find overhere but our 30mm glass fuse versions fit and work well (same diameter just 2mm shorter).

Now the speedo doesn't wobble around and cut in and out!
I can see the instruments at night!
    The windows work faster!
The headlights have gone from a candle yellow glow to something approaching white light! (cibie and relay upgrade soon)

pic of installation for the record.
