My 246 doesn't have any books or tool kit and I know it's unlikely that I'd be able to buy original sets so my question is, does anyone know if there are any reproduction accessories that I could buy? Any information would be appreciated.

    Les.

1st off. Real is available. It's just price prohibitive. But if you have $10K+ you're willing to invest, we can point you in the right direction.

Manuals can be had (repro mar-parts versions) for not much money, and there's a guy on ebay who sells repro pouches for books and tools. He's on there pretty regularly and I think wspeer here has bought some of his stuff.

There's a guy who sels the mar parts books. Carreaper knows who it is, maybe PM him.

There's a couple of sources for decent, although not concours correct tools. Superformance.co.uk has them, and La Scuderia Rossa (Tom S. de-twitch on that) has something too. Superformance also has a nice repro book pouch.

    Good hunting.

ebay is the easiest, however, almost all of the repro's i have seen are not going to be passed off for originals.

    +1.
Agreed, the key fob looks like a repro, the books are not complete and I don't see the hole that the chocks normally have in the center.

Am I out of touch or does this look like this set is twice the price that it should be?

    1 stop shopping, agreed,
especially as we near the summer activities.

BTW, the pouch with the rounded corners is for a 1972, but I thought the green authorized service agents (numbered/dated 67/72) would be correct not the blue one.

What is the factory number/date of the blue one?

PS - for that price, I'd imagine the Chassis abstract and the Consumer Information should be included.
