We had #50 of 50 here in Toronto. Wonder if that's it...

This one came to Olds out of Southern California last year, and if I remember right it is #19.

How'd he get a US Lambo plated up here? I thought that you couldn't get the US cars into the country.

Hi guys, a few comments, since I started this thread -

I don't think it's necessary to start new threads for events, at least those pertaining to exotics in this province. Regarding bikes and musclecars, I'll let the moderators decide if those vehicles are beyond the scope of FerrariChat. In my opinion, they are.

The idea behind this particular thread was to tidy up the Canadian section and to have a place for enthusiasts to check semi-regularly for public, announced events. Of course we encourage sharing of pictures and thoughts. This is the place to do that.

For the newcomers, I don't think it's wise to post exact locations of exotics, especially when the photos depict the owner's residence. I know there was no ill-intent, however it really isn't fair to give public notice as to which neighbourhood a half million dollar car is located. As for the value in posting the license plate, while it's commonly debated, I personally blur it out for courtesy.

As for photo opportunities like the Father's Day Show and the ilk, usually well in advance of any events we will give fair warning and then some, at least for the ones I am aware of. If no notice or announcement has been issued, then usually the event is a private function.

For example, most of the photos I've been posting lately are pictures taken from informal, private gatherings, where friends are simply meeting and then going for lunch. None of the owners are really interested in having their pictures taken at those gatherings, as they are loosely organized and are really just excuses to socialize and drive the cars.

    Thanks to all.

2 Enzos, Saleen S7TT, a few Carrera GTs and SLRs, an F40, lots of higher production Lambos and Ferraris, lots of Ford GTs, and hopefully an MC12 pretty soon.

Hey Sorry Brim, I'll leave out the details from now on. I was very excited to see a site where people are so enthusiastic about spotting exotics. I get made fun of all the time from my buddies.

Since I'm new to the site I'm just learning about posting and stuff as well.
So thanks to fanatix for the help.
Is it too late to edit my pic and do some adjusting?

True. I heard car went to Alberta. I don't think anybody can import a Murcielago from U.S.

Not to mention some of the most incredible award winning vintage cars in the world. With prices that dwarf the Enzo, SLR's and CGT's of the world. Alberta is home to some of the most sought after vintage cars in the world. They don't have to be new to be cool or expensive and we have them all.

    Why thank you, kind sir.

I know there's a big ol' thread going on in Cars, Motorcyles, Boats and Planes debating the relative merits of the SLR versus the CGT, but I've chosen to stay out of it. For me the car is perfect fit, and I have no complaints. Great boulevard cruiser, occasional track car, and comfortable GT with ample power and torque.

    Cheers, big ears!

Absolutely. Hopefully more of our younger users can see photos and events with these vehicles, designed from a time when car making was an art form rather than a mass production.

Regarding the 40th Anniversary Murcielago and where it came from:

It did indeed come out of the States. The car is owned by a man who I personally know, as I went to school with his son for 12 years, and have been friends with for the last 9. Like I said, I will try to find out how he got it here. I have asked about it more than once in the past but can't seem to get a really precise answer. All I can tell you is that getting the car into Canada was a process that took as long as two years.
