That makes sense, like they did in Forza 1. I forgot about how they change things like that in demos. I know that in test drive unlimited many cars would have not been in the game if it was not for the fact that there is no damage.
Forza 2 Demo was a HUGE dissapointment, the graphics are terrable. I just hope the real game has better graphics. I am liking the crash damage though, but GT5 will have it. Forza 2: http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/770/770697/forza-motorsport-2-20070306010255807.jpg GTHD(not even GT5, its just upscaled GT4): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v497/escudo825/GTHD/gran-turismo-hd-20060928034354579.jpg you can see a huge differnce. But why did they not work on graphics?????
That was one of the reasons GT4 did not have damage on ps2, the creator's felt that the technology was not there to realistically represent damage. Now that Ps3 is out and with its tremendous CPU power they can crunch numbers for gfx and damage for GT5.
IGN compresses their screenshots terribly. Watch this video on the bottom and tell me the graphics are garbage. http://forzamotorsport.net/news/pitpassreports/pitpass43.htm GTHD cannot be compared graphically to Forza2. There is one track, no online, no damage, no custom paint, no telemetry. Thats a HUGE sap on processing power. Also, GT4 was supposed to have online, we saw how that ended up. Sony is the king of empty promises. No, its due to licensing. Games like Dirt and GTR have full damage modeling, but thats because they are licensing race cars, not production cars. So they can rip apart those cars all they want. Used to be a GT fan, owned 1-4. Forza showed me the light, GT has been left behind
I just got an opportunity to play the Demo at a friends house and I was amazed. The graphics are better, the daamge model is improved as the bumpers now fall off. Also the telemetry in the game is cool. I can't wait for this to come out.
Here we go... I have played ps3, Wii, 360. 360 is just so much more powerful. The Wii is good for parties. The Ps3 good for bragging. The 360 is good for EVERYTHING I love mine. yes i do want a PS3 but only for one game. F1 Champions Edition. Other then that, i could care less about PS3's
50.316 in the Saleen. But I'm not a big fan of R class, at least on this course. Its capable of much more, I just get frustrated trying to push it there
Agreed it does get a bit frustrating at times trying to keep the car on the track with some of the turns getting somewhat narrow. The C class cars can be fun, with the little it of horsepower they don't break loose easily. I want more tracks!! and more cars!! haha.
I loved it! I immediately downloaded it once I saw it in the new arrivals in the market place. I'm anxiously waiting for the game's release.... The graphics are awesome and I can't wait to see all those 300+ cars waiting to be perfectly tuned.
So who picked up the game today???? The time trails arcade section is awesome, has the risi competizone #62 and the 333sp. The game's so addicting! lots of fun tracks, only wish there were more.
I also picked up the game yesterday at the local EB Games. As I said earlier the damage is more realistic. I love the tracks, and the added cars are nice. I like the addition of the Lamborghini's. The graphics are great, especially on an HDTV. The car tuning is expanded a bit more than last time. The game is very addicting, and exceeded my expectations.
Had it reserved at gamestop, they didn't have it in the morning when I went in, finally had it there by 6pm.
you already made a car nice... Did you pluge your 360 up to the computer or how did u get the pictures on ??
If you take pictures of your car it gives you the option to send them to the forza community site, and then you can download them off there.
