    Howdy :)

My g/f and I are heading to San Antonio (well, Springbranch to be exact) from Scotland in May to visit my mum. Can any of you more local guys point me in the direction of a Ferrari garage in that area where I would likely see some 355s & 360s? I am sure my mum would like to see a 355 close up and I guess it is easier to take her to a local garage than me drive mine over there :) Same question for a Lotus dealer too if possible.

This will be my 5th visit to SA so I am reasonably familiar with the area but have never spotted either Dealer. Obviously they cant be next to Dennys ;)

    Thanks in advance

    Jim

Thanks for that. The Lotus one looks like it will fit the bill and we should find that.

Not so sure about the Ferrari one tho. The website only shows a 430 and 575 (plus lots of Jags) but no 355/360 :( any more pointers? :)

Barrett Ferrari/Maserati/Jaguar usually has more in stock then what they show on their website. I'm sure someone on here knows if they currently have any in or not. Enjoy your trip:)

oooo...Barrett usually has quite a few Fcars in their "special place"...you can usually see about 5-7 Fcars sleeping on the side waiting to be checked on...

    Enjoy your trip!

Thanks folks, Barrett is is then :)

If any of you guys have your cars parked there between the 28th May and 13th June dont be too surprised to see an enthusiastic scottish couple (no kilts) pointing knowledgeably at the cars accompanied by a slightly disinterested older lady who would far rather be looking at a Truck!! ;)

    Hmmmm....
Slightly dissapointed. Not too much to see at Barrett Ferrari and nobody really showing any interest whatsoever in the showroom. No real difference to UK dealers tho so I guess I was just hoping for a bit too much. No Dennys nearby either. At least Baskin Robbins ice-cream lived up to billing :)

If you got the time, you should roll north to Dallas and see Boardwalk Ferrari. There's a car show there tomorrow

Forget Denny's and go to Mi Tierra near the downtown farmer's market. Great Mexican breakfast!

    haha, Tourist ;)

Mi Tierra's is an ok mexican restaurant, but if you ask any San Antonian, it's the last place to eat mexican food. Journey outside of downtown to the Westside or Northwest and you'll find way better mexican food. :D

    Hmmm...Tacos.

Sucks about Barrett, usually they just have a few cars in the showroom, but their are usually double that amount out back in the service. That's where i like to visit, something unique everytime.

    Enjoy your stay..

    3 miles!!!!!

heck, I am from Scotland! 3 miles is in the NEXT village!!! :)

Poor show on the Ferrari front so far and Dallas is a bit too far, but Outback Steak and Alamo Cafe Sizzlers are on the upside.

Now... if only I wanted to go Truck Spotting!!

    Cheers,

    Jim
