A few years ago, there was a show called Enzo Ferrari: Passion For Speed that was part of the A&E Network’s Biography series. If anyone recorded this, please let me know. I would very much like to pay someone for a copy.

Unfortunately, that just brings up the Sergio Castellitto film, which in my opinion is pretty awful. The one I am looking for originally appeared as part of the A&E Biography series. It has interviews with the Ferrari family, Enzo’s secretary Brenda Vernor, journalists like Doug Nye and Michael T. Lynch, and drivers such as Dan Gurney and Phil Hill. It really appears to be the best film on the subject. There is a Spanish language version that can be found under “Biografia Enzo Ferrari” on YouTube. Unfortunately, my Spanish is not very good…

Watch out guys, we have three different films up here right now. The one posted by vm3 is an older production that A&E is selling through their online shop. In my opinion, it is not very good and should be avoided. Save your money on this one. I can not imagine why they are selling this rather than the Biography: Enzo Ferrari film. The one posted by pastmaster is called Timewatch: The Secrets of Enzo Ferrari and was produced by the BBC. It is excellent; in particular the interviews with Franco Gozzi and Sergio Scaglietti. They were very close to Enzo Ferrari and really give one an insight into how he was. Finally, what YellowbirdRS and Dr. Tommy have posted is the film that I was initially referring to. It was produced by Actuality Productions for A&E and was aired in 2001. It includes what appear to be very interesting interviews with historians such as Michael T. Lynch and Doug Nye, journalists like Jim Sitz and Brock Yates, and even members of the Ferrari family. There is a Spanish language version posted on YouTube, but I have been unable so far to get a copy of the original show in English.

    Jack-

That is yet another different film. It is an English production available through Duke Video. It is not bad. The sections with Niki Lauda are the best parts IMO. I feel like I am becoming some sort of Ferrari film critic… Anyway, for the video that is the title of this thread you will have to talk to YellowbirdRS or Dr. Tommy Cosgrove. It is not available commercially at this time.
