Im preaty sure thats fake the M3 logo is to high then how it is normaly
Pimp Daddy! Who freakin' cares? Re-badging isn't really a replica. At Barrett-Jackson they call that a "Re-creation".
True it does look to high, maybe the prior owner shaved it and the current owner wants people to know what he/she has and they placed it incorrectly. Whatever the reason the bumper says it should be an M3. Just my .02
M3s have the exhaust on both sides. http://gallery.aussieexotics.com/photos/130360188-L.jpg http://gallery.aussieexotics.com/photos/130294360-L.jpg Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There are many many kits out there to make a regular E36 look like an M3. Go to England and they are everywhere. Just the location of the M3 badge is making me think its a "replica"
Not a bad thing if you can beat much mightier cars with it. We got our behinds kicked when we took our Ferraris to the strip... I really would like to know though how much horses they got with the turbo. It looks ugly, but if it does the job it is supposed then...
It's not about the turbo, per-se. It's about the "plumbing" job. He probably could have fit it in a bit closer. Perhaps he wanted "Ram-Air" turbo cooling when he's doing 200!
The windshield and T-tops give it away as a Camaro of Firebird. It's probably fast, but still silly looking.
Strange thing they did with the S/F shield: Like they cut out an indentation way too big for the shields. Weird. And if the interior is GM I don't even want to know what it looks like. <shudder>
I owned a T/A for three years. I hated the interior. The F-body interior looks like it was designed by playskool. Great big knobs and buttons like they're for people who haven't yet developed manual dexterity. Even worse, the buttons and knobs are all grey, while the interior is usually black, which makes them stick out like a sore thumb. Why did GM do this? Because in the late '80's/early '90's their switchgear was too small. People complained, so they made them HUGE. Way to insult your customer's intelligence.
The same company who used to build those also made accord based Skyline kits as well as MR2 based lambokits. Those look silly but iam sure a quick trip to the local tunershop and it will be much quicker than orginals.
I really liked the interior of the 3rd gen fbodys but that dash looked like ****. the bottons looked like they came off the orginal NES game system.
Point.......missed. I would rather just drive a fast T/A or Camaro that's not trying to be something else than a fake Lambo or Ferrari. It's kind of like packing your shorts when you go to a club. Sooner or later, the truth will be known.
